For a long time, he stood with his back to the people, as that was how Mass was celebrated at the time. Then, he slowly turned to those present:
‘O happy witnesses, to whom the blessed God, in order to cleanse me of my doubts, has willed and chosen to reveal Himself in the most holy Sacrament of the altar and thus be visible to our eyes!
