The prayer of the apostles with Our Lady caused the Holy Spirit to be sent. The sorrow at Jesus’ death and the fear of ending up like him was transformed into joy. An utter transformation took place in them. The Holy Spirit descended upon them, they were miraculously uplifted, and began to proclaim the Good News. They died out of love like Jesus. Nothing else interested them but to follow him.

This is what Our Lady calls us to today: be joyful seekers of God and witnesses of love without bounds.

The world is in turmoil, just as the apostles were after Jesus’ death. We see no way out; war and the threat of death are at the doors. The Heavenly Father knows this, which is why He sends Our Lady to earth so that She may repeat it to us today, “Pray to the Holy Spirit!” “I am with you, little children.” The presence of the Mother brings comfort and peace to the children.

“Pray and seek God through me”, says Our Lady to us. She teaches us to find Him in the Eucharist, in prayer, in our neighbor, in nature, in every situation that takes place. God always speaks. In a special way, he speaks to us through Sacred Scripture. That is why Our Lady invites us to meditate on the Gospel every day, when God is born anew in our hearts and families.

The Holy Father Pope Benedict VI said, “Lectio divina is the new spring”. From the pages of Sacred Scriptures Jesus comes to tell us, “Peace be with you”. What happened to the Apostles is happening to us – sadness and fear disappear and we are overwhelmed by the desire to love without bounds. Jesus shows us the way.

To rejoice in God is to be filled with the good news. Following Jesus becomes our lifestyle. Wherever He walked, He did only good.

This is what Our Lady brings us to, “The reason that I am with you, my mission, is to help you for ‘good’ to win, even though this does not seem possible to you now. I know that you do not understand many things as I also did not understand everything, everything that my Son explained to me while he was growing up alongside me – but I believed him and followed him. I ask this of you also, to believe me and to follow me. However, my children, to follow me means to love my Son above everything, to love him in every person without making differences.” (August 2, 2014). “I need you to be open and sensitive to the good and mercy.” (May 2, 2015). “Open yourselves to God’s plan and to His designs to be able to cooperate with Him for peace and for everything that is good. Do not forget that your life does not belong to you, but is a gift with which you must bring joy to others and lead them to eternal life.” (December 25, 1992). “Little children, life is short; you, make good use of this time and do what is good.” (April 25, 2016). “The good which is silent and is spread through pure souls is the strength which sustains this world. There is much sin, but there is also love. My Son is sending me to you – the mother who is the same for everyone – that I may teach you to love, to comprehend that you are brothers.” (November 2, 2017). “He seeks the good in all souls – even that which is little and hidden-so as to forgive evil.” (April 2, 2019).

“That is why I call you, apostles of my love: you strive to look to the very depth in human hearts and there you are certain to find the little hidden treasure. To look in this way is mercy from the Heavenly Father. To seek the good even where there is the greatest evil-to strive to comprehend each other and not to judge-that is what my Son is asking of you. And I, as a mother, am calling you to listen to Him. My children, the spirit is mightier than the flesh, and, carried by love and actions, it overcomes all obstacles. Do not forget: my Son has loved you and loves you.” (November 2, 2018)

“I am calling you to be courageous and to not grow weary, because even the smallest good—the smallest sign of love—conquers evil which is all the more visible. My children, listen to me so that good may overcome, so that you may come to know the love of my Son.” (October 2, 2018). “When you are giving yourself for the faith, when you are giving yourself for love, when you are doing good to your neighbor, my Son smiles in your soul.” (February 2, 2018).

Let us pray: Mary, the cause of our joy, we thank you for the way that you show us today as a starting point – to do good so that it may be good for us on earth. With you, we cry out: Holy Spirit, penetrate us with the power of your love without bounds, which is stronger than all evil. May your words be engraved deep in our hearts, “My children, let your only instrument always be love. By love turn everything into good which Satan desires to destroy and possess. Only that way shall you be completely mine and I shall be able to help you.”
