In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy spirit. Amen.
Come, Holy Spirit, come by means of the powerful intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Your Beloved Spouse! (3x)
Lk 16, (1-8)
1 Then he also said to his disciples, “A rich man had a steward who was reported to him for squandering his property. He summoned him and said, ‘What is this I hear about you? Prepare a full account of your stewardship, because you can no longer be my steward.’ The steward said to himself, ‘What shall I do, now that my master is taking the position of steward away from me? I am not strong enough to dig and I am ashamed to beg. I know what I shall do so that, when I am removed from the stewardship, they may welcome me into their homes.’ He called in his master’s debtors one by one. To the first he said, ‘How much do you owe my master?’ He replied, ‘One hundred measures of olive oil.’ He said to him, ‘Here is your promissory note. Sit down and quickly write one for fifty.’ Then to another he said, ‘And you, how much do you owe?’ He replied, ‘One hundred containers of wheat.’ He said to him, ‘Here is your promissory note; make it eighty.’ And the master commended that dishonest steward for acting prudently. For the children of this world are more prudent in dealing with their own generation than are the children of light.
TO BE GUIDED BY HUMAN SENSITIVITY
Let’s pray for a deep conviction that my greatest well-being is active love
• I will quiet myself and will sit down beside Jesus Who is with His disciples (1). He wants to tell me a parable about how to live without wasting my life. He teaches me how “to win” life.
• In my life I am like a manager who has received wealth from God: my vocation, talents, abilities and loved ones. There are two ways to live: either to multiply or squander my possessions. How has it been so far?
• God allows sufferings “to awaken” me when I waste my life (2). Do I remember the moments when deep anxiety led me to reflect on my life and change it?
• “What shall I do?…” (3) The situations of helplessness when the ground seems to give way beneath me remind me that I do not belong only to myself but that my whole life is in God’s hands. How do I act at such moments?
• The greatest act of prudence is to be guided by mercy in my life. Kindness and sensitivity toward others make me truly rich: they make me human and they are in a special way God’s joy (4-8).
• Someday at the judgment God will ask me about my kindness. I will ask Him to help me recognize my human sensitivity.
• In a heartfelt conversation with Jesus I will look at my “wealth of life”. How much kindness and how much contempt for love are there in my life? I will hold in my heart an earnest plea: “Remove from me everything and give me boundless love”.
In the school of Our Lady:
Mary teaches us to leave footprints of kindness and love wherever we go. Our life is a gift and it doesn’t belong to us; it is a gift through which we are called to make others happy and draw them to heaven.
October, 02, 2010 – Message from our Lady of Medjugorje:
“Dear children! Today I call you to a humble, my children, humble devotion. Your hearts need to be just. May your crosses be your means in the battle against the sins of the present time. May your weapon be patience and boundless love – a love that knows to wait and which will make you capable of recognizing God’s signs – that your life, by humble love, may show the truth to all those who seek it in the darkness of lies. My children, my apostles, help me to open the paths to my Son. Once again I call you to pray for your shepherds. Alongside them, I will triumph. Thank You”.
Mother of kindness, boundless love and mercy. Thank You for forming us in love for every person. Help us transform everything into goodness through love. Amen.
The prayer of consecration to Jesus through Mary
Holy Virgin Mary, today before You and in Your hands I renew and confirm the vows of Holy Baptism. I renounce satan forever, his works; and I consecrate myself to the Sacred Heart of Jesus Christ. I want to carry my cross after Him all the days of my life according to the will of the Heavenly Father. O Mary, in the presence of all the heavenly court and the whole Church I consecrate myself to Your Immaculate Heart. Be my Mother and Queen. In complete submission and love I give You and consecrate to You my body and soul, my goods, both interior and exterior, the value of all my good actions, past, present and future leaving to thee the entire and full right of disposing of me, and all that belongs to me according to thy good pleasure, for the greater gloryof God in time and in eternity. Amen.
