November 25, 1996 “Dear children! Today, again, I invite you to pray, so that through prayer, fasting and small sacrifices you may prepare yourselves for the coming of Jesus. May this time, little children, be a time of grace for you. Use every moment and do good, for only in this way will you feel the birth of Jesus in your hearts. If with your life you give an example and become a sign of God’s love, joy will prevail in the hearts of men. Thank you for having responded to my call.”
Resolution:
We will dedicate the coming days to the theme of forgiveness. Today, together with Mary, we pray especially for the gift of forgiveness within our families.
Mary teaches us that to receive the fullness of the gifts of the Holy Spirit, we must first forgive. For our forgiveness to be holy and complete, she invites us to pray for the gift of God’s love—a love that is always ready to forgive and to ask for forgiveness.
Prayer:
We ask for the gift of God’s love to fill our hearts and our families.
Mary, we entrust to you all the wounded and broken relationships within our homes.
With you, we cry out:
“Holy Spirit, Spirit of love, come into our families! Grant us reconciliation and peace!”
Come, Holy Spirit, come by means of the powerful intercession of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, your well-beloved spouse! (3x)
Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit.
As it was in the beginning, is now,
and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.
