Our Lady of Medjugorje’s June 25, 2026 monthly message:
“Dear children! Rejoice with Me because the Most High permits Me to be with you, to lead you to Him Who is the
Way, the Truth and the Life. Rejoice, little children, and be joyful also in difficulties and you will have the strength,
because you will be aware that you are transient and you will know to offer everything to God. That is why, do not
forget: I am your Mother and I love you. Thank you for having responded to My call”. (With Ecclesiastical approval)
Last month in Her message Our Lady called us to dedicate our time to prayer and fasting as well as to return to God.
Prayer and fasting are powerful means for spiritual life and for strengthening our personal relationship with God.
In this message given on the 45th anniversary of the apparitions, Our Lady invites us to rejoice and to rejoice with Her
because in Medjugorje God has begun His great work of grace through Our Lady and has poured out His abundant grace
upon so many hearts that have come to Him in humility and repentance.
Medjugorje as a place of Our Lady’s apparitions is a gift from Heaven to earth, a gift of the Heavenly Father for every
human heart. It is a touch of Heaven upon the earth. It is a mysterious and supernatural power of grace that draws the
human heart back to God again and again so that a person may come ever closer to God.
The apparitions of Our Lady take place according to God’s will and decision. They are God’s initiative and God speaks
to us through Mother of His Son and calls us to the path of life. This awareness can and should awaken gratitude and joy
in the human heart. Only a person who sees with his spirit and heart can be truly grateful and joyful.
Joy can not be controlled. Joy is a result of an inner state, purity and a relationship with God. The world speaks about
fun and mirth. The world offers fun but fun is not the same as joy. Joy embraces the whole person and his entire soul, it
lasts through time and gets into a relationship.
Worldly pleasures may last for a certain time. They may come as a result of intoxication or drug use or some form of
carnal pleasure. Fun passes very quickly. As soon as a person becomes a sorber he may eventually discover that he is
more devastated than before. After experiencing the kind of fun suggested by the world a person may feel ashamed,
suffer pangs of guilt and try to make things right.
Our Lady leads us to Jesus Who is the Way, the Truth and the Life. God has the final word concerning our lives and
everything that happens in the world. The one who trusts in God will speak only of hope and not of hopelessness. He
will spread around him only joy and trust. Let us give our hearts and our trust to Our Mother for us to encounter Our
Lord Who is our life and true joy.
Prayer
Virgin Mary, You lived a life so similar to ours. You were not spared pain, difficulties, trials or grief, yet You kept a
profound joy within Your Heart because You believed that nothing is impossible for God . From the first “Yes” that You
said to God Your path of trials and suffering began. Despite all this You exclaimed: “My soul magnifies the Lord”.
Obtain for all who endure trials, pain, war and the death of their loved ones the strength and grace so that they will be
able to offer everything to God in Whom alone we find our peace and the fullness of life. Amen
