Our Lady invites us – “pray with me for peace”. Praying with her is the light of the Bethlehem Star. She leads us to the King of Peace, to the kingdom that is not of this world. The prayer of Our Lady does not make noise, it is silent and triumphant. It is the offering of suffering with love.

In one exorcism, Satan said, “I hate silence. His (Jesus’) silence before Pilate was unbearable, and Her (Our Lady’s) silence under the cross almost killed me.”

Our Mary tells us, “Satan wants war and hatred in hearts and peoples”. Evil is unbearably noisy and aggressive, as on Jesus’ Way of the Cross. In the ambience of noise and hatred, triumphs the love of Jesus, lived in unity with Our Lady.

As She tells us in the message of September 2, 2017, “I hid my pain through love, but you, my children, you have numerous questions. You do not comprehend pain. You do not comprehend that through the love of God you need to accept pain and endure it. Every human being will experience it to a lesser or greater measure. But with peace in the soul and in a state of grace, hope exists; this is my Son, God, born of God. His words are the seed of eternal life. Sown in good souls it brings numerous fruits. My Son bore the pain because He took your sins upon Himself. Therefore, you, my children, apostles of my love, you who suffer, know that your pain will become light and glory. My children, while you are enduring pain, while you are suffering, Heaven enters in you and you give a piece of Heaven and much hope to all those around you.”

Our Heavenly Mother tells us today that “the future is at a crossroads, because modern man does not want God. That is why mankind is heading to perdition”. She brings us hope that the world can be saved even from this catastrophe on one condition, that we must put God first.

Our Lady counts on us and urgently calls us, “You are my hope!”

That hope is born in the prayer of the Rosary with her, in fasting and repentance. Sacrifice, fasting and repentance for peace means having and giving out even more love. The Mother of Hope teaches us that through prayer and love we will conquer even what seems humanly impossible. Jesus, Our Lady and the multitudes of saints testify that offered suffering with love brings peace.

„Pray with me, that what I began in Fatima and here may be realised.” As we read in the message of August 25, 1991, which Our Lady gave in the first months of the war in the Balkans, Medjugorje is a continuation of Fatima. She said, “Today also I invite you to prayer, now as never before when my plan has begun to be realized. Satan is strong and wants to sweep away plans of peace and joy and make you think that my Son is not strong in his decisions. Therefore, I call all of you, dear children to pray and fast still more firmly. I invite you to realize through the secrets I began in Fatima may be fulfilled. I call you, dear children, to grasp the importance of my coming and the seriousness of the situation. I want to save all souls and present them to God. Therefore, let us pray that everything I have begun be fully realized. Thank you for having responded to my call.“

Let us with gratitude for Our Lady’s light respond responsibly to her urgent call. Let us not forget her promise that in the end her Immaculate Heart will triumph.

Let us pray: Our Lady, we thank you for your trust when you say to us, “Pray with me, you are my hope”. Praying with you changes the world, returning us to God, our only peace. With you, we pray, we offer days of fasting and penance for peace, for the return of mankind to God. Jesus, King of Peace, touch the hearts that are gripped by hatred and plan wars. Make us creators of peace. By the power of prayer and fasting, we ask that all that you began through Our Lady at Fatima and Medjugorje be realized. Amen.
