THE  FIRST  DAY

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit

Come Holy Spirit, come through the powerful intercession of the Immaculate Heart of the Most Pure Virgin Mary, Your most beloved Spouse! (3x)

Gospel according to Luke (Lk. 4, 38-44)

After he left the synagogue, he entered the house of Simon. Simon’s mother-in-law was afflicted with a severe fever, and they interceded with him about her. He stood over her, rebuked the fever, and it left her. She got up immediately and waited on them. At sunset, all who had people sick with various diseases brought them to him. He laid his hands on each of them and cured them. And demons also came out from many, shouting: “You are the Son of God”.  But he rebuked them and did not allow them to speak because they knew that he was the Messiah.  At daybreak, Jesus left and went to a deserted place. The crowds went looking for him, and when they came to him, they tried to prevent him from leaving them. But he said to them: “To the other towns also I must proclaim the good news of the kingdom of God, because for this purpose I have been sent”. And he was preaching in the synagogues of Judea.

I draw strength from Jesus in my fragile life

I pray for a deep experience of Jesus’s presence and strength in my fragile life.

  • I see a happy Peter welcoming Jesus into his home (verse 38). He has just come from the synagogue to the simple fisherman. I am entering Peter’s house to be with them.
  • I am thinking about Jesus Who visits my house every day. He wants to be with me where I live, meet those I live with, see what I live. Are there any places, situations or relationships in which  I can’t imagine the encounter with Jesus? If there are ones then why?
  • I am standing beside Jesus Who is approaching Peter’s sick mother-in-law. She is afflicted with a severe fever. I hear the family asking Jesus to heal her. Jesus is fulfilling their request (verse 39).
  • Who is sick in my house (physically, mentally, spiritually)? Who or what needs healing from Jesus? What would I ask Him for?
  • I am standing in front of Peter’s house. It is the evening. I see people bringing their sick ones (verse 40). Jesus is going out to them and is curing their various diseases. Do I believe that Jesus can remedy every my suffering and the sufferings of my relatives?
  • I am approaching Jesus Who is driving out the evil spirits (verse 41). I am going to be persistent in Jesus’s presence and to ask for the experience of His divine strength . I am giving Him all parts of my life in which I feel fragile, weak and evil’s temptations.
  • I am going with Jesus to a desert place. I am praying with Him. Then I am accompanying Him on the way to other places (verses 42-44). Jesus’s longing for my vigilance and perseverance with Him in different life situations.
  • I am falling to Jesus’s feet and recognize Him as my Lord and Savior. I am enduring this day with a simple ardent statement:”Jesus, You’re my Lord and Savior”.

At school of Our Lady:

Mary leads us towards Jesus – He is the only one Who can heal us. Our body can be healed only after the healing of our heart and soul. Jesus is waiting for us in the Sacrament of Holy Confession. The house of Simon is a confessional. Let’s bring Jesus our weaknesses, sins and diseases of our souls in the Holy Confession today or in the next few days.

Annual message of Our Lady the Queen of Peace through visionary Jakov Colo December, 25 2023

“Dear children! Today with my Son in my arms, I desire to call all of you to pray to the little Jesus for the healing of your heart. Children, often in your hearts sin rules which destroys your life and you can not feel God’s presence. That is why, on this day of grace, when grace is spreading throughout the whole world, surrender your life and your heart to the Lord, so that the Lord may heal them with His grace. Only with pure hearts will you be able to experience the birth of Jesus anew in you, and the light of His birth will illuminate your life. I bless you with my motherly blessing. Thank you for having responded to my call”.

Our Heavenly Father, thank You for the gift of Our Lady’s apparitions in Medjugorje. This place is also Peter’s house. Thank You, Mary, for Your leading us to Jesus and for imploring Him to heal our bodies and souls. Give Him everything that is the most fragile and weakest within us as well as the pains of our souls and evil’s temptations. Obtain for us a deep experience of Jesus’s presence and strength in our fragile life.

The prayer of consecration to Jesus through Mary

Holy Virgin Mary, today before You and in Your hands I renew and confirm the vows of Holy Baptism.

I renounce satan forever, his works; and I consecrate myself  to the Sacred Heart of Jesus Christ. I want to carry my cross after Him all the days of my life according to the will of the Heavenly Father.

O Mary, in the presence of all the heavenly court and the whole Church I consecrate myself to Your Immaculate Heart. Be my Mother and Queen. In complete submission and love I give You and consecrate to You my body and soul, my goods, both interior and exterior, the value of all my good actions, past, present and future leaving to thee the entire and full right of disposing of me, and all that belongs to me according to thy good pleasure, for the greater glory of God in time and in eternity. Amen.

The blessing of the priest.

THE  SECOND  DAY

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit

Come Holy Spirit, come through the powerful intercession of the Immaculate Heart of the Most Pure Virgin Mary, Your most beloved Spouse! (3x)

Gospel according to Luke (Lk. 5, 1-11)

One day as Jesus was standing by the Lake of Gennesaret, the people were crowding around him and listening to the word of God. He saw at the water’s edge two boats, left there by the fishermen, who were washing their nets. He got into one of the boats, the one belonging to Simon, and asked him to put out a little from shore. Then he sat down and taught the people from the boat.

When he had finished speaking, he said to Simon, “Put out into deep water, and let down the nets for a catch.”

Simon answered, “Master, we’ve worked hard all night and haven’t caught anything. But because you say so, I will let down the nets.”

When they had done so, they caught such a large number of fish that their nets began to break. So they signaled their partners in the other boat to come and help them, and they came and filled both boats so full that they began to sink.

When Simon Peter saw this, he fell at Jesus’ knees and said, “Go away from me, Lord; I am a sinful man!”. For he and all his companions were astonished at the catch of fish they had taken, and so were James and John, the sons of Zebedee, Simon’s partners.

Then Jesus said to Simon, “Don’t be afraid; from now on you will fish for people”. So they pulled their boats up on shore, left everything and followed him.

To grab Jesus’s word

Let’s pray for heart’s freedom from all that is perfunctory and superficial and for love for Word

  • I imagine myself in the crowd standing around him (v.1). Everybody wants to see, to hear what He is saying. His words move deeply and attract. What can I say about my aspirations in prayer when I read the Word of God?
  • Jesus surrounded by people above the lake shore is entering Simon’s boat and teaching (vv. 2-3). I am entering the boat with Him and sitting next to Him. I am gazing at Jesus and at the crowd that is listening to Him in admiration. I am asking Him of the profound experience of His Word’s strength and of devoting myself wholly to it.
  • Jesus goes on board a ship of my life every day and says to me: “Put out into deep water” (v.4). Do I strive for the depth which is a depth of prayer, listening to His words and the relationship with Him? What sort of things am I superficial in?
  • I am looking at Simon who can’t believe his eyes. When he took Jesus’s word on trust then the boats became full of fish (vv. 6-7). His word bears fruits there where we work hard uselessly “all night”. I entrust Him with my daily troubles, fruitless efforts and weariness.
  • I see Simon’s look of dismay. He feels his meanness and exclaims: “Go away from me, Lord; I am a sinful man!” (v.8) How do I endure my fragility, failings and sins? Do I yield to temptation in order to withdraw from Jesus?
  • Jesus approaches me. He sees my confusion and fear of my fragility and says to me:”Don’t be afraid” (v.10). What do I fear within me the most? I am telling Jesus about my fears for myself. I am giving them to Him. Peter had worked hard all night and hadn’t caught anything. According to the Lord’s word they got a good catch of fish.
  • “Left everything and followed him” (v.11). What am I afraid of leaving or missing for the sake of Jesus? What haven’t I given Him yet? I am asking Him persistently: “Take away my fears and help me grab Your Word”.

At school of Our Lady:

Peter listened to His word though it was a contradiction with his experience and his logic. “But because You say so, I will let down the nets”. Peter had worked hard all night long and hadn’t caught anything. According to God’s word there was a wonderful catch. Their nets began to break because of the large number of fish. Mary teaches us to build everything on Jesus’s word. She said in Medjugorje that they offer us various deceitful truths. But there is the only truth – that’s Jesus’s words, the Gospel. When we begin to contemplate His word every day then a miroculous transfiguration of our hearts takes place.

The message of Our Lady the Queen of Peace through visionary Marija Pavlovic-Lunetti January, 25 2018

“Dear children! May this time be for you a time of prayer, so that the Holy Spirit, through prayer, may descend upon you and give you conversion. Open your hearts and read the Sacred Scripture, that through the testimonies you also may be closer to God. Above everything, little children, seek God and the things of God and leave earthly ones to the earth, because satan is attracting you to the dust and sin. You are called to holiness and created for Heaven; therefore, seek Heaven and the things of Heaven. Thank you for having responded to my call”.

Jesus, nobody has ever talked like You did. Thank You for Your every word. Thank You for Mary whom You send us to remind: “Ponder and live Holy Scripture every day”. Release our hearts from everything that is surficiant and trivial. Help us to leave all deceitful truths and follow You and to build our life on Your word.

THE  THIRD  DAY

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit

Come Holy Spirit, come through the powerful intercession of the Immaculate Heart of the Most Pure Virgin Mary, Your most beloved Spouse! (3x)

Gospel according to Luke (Lk. 5, 33-39)

They said to him, “John’s disciples often fast and pray, and so do the disciples of the Pharisees, but yours go on eating and drinking.” Jesus answered, “Can you make the friends of the bridegroom fast while he is with them? But the time will come when the bridegroom will be taken from them; in those days they will fast.” He told them this parable: “No one tears a piece out of a new garment to patch an old one. Otherwise, they will have torn the new garment, and the patch from the new will not match the old. And no one pours new wine into old wineskins. Otherwise, the new wine will burst the skins; the wine will run out and the wineskins will be ruined. No, new wine must be poured into new wineskins. And no one after drinking old wine wants the new, for they say: ‘The old is better.’”

Striving for inner entireness

Let’s pray for the ability of discerning a spiritual state and inner entireness

  • I am gazing at Jesus’s worried eyes. He wants to warn me of thoughtless fulfillment of the devout practice. I am asking the Holy Spirit of my inner state of openness and tranquility before I will plunge into His word.
  • I am making use of the image that Jesus gives (v. 34). I am at the wedding party, sitting at the abundantly laid table  and urging all the guests to fast. That’s an example of a diseased vigilance which has lost the connection with reality.
  • What can I say about my vigilance? I am looking attentively to my devout practices. Do they help me to be closer to Jesus and other persons? What kind of thoughts do I hear about my piety?
  • Jesus reminds me about the need for a spiritual discerning a suffering state and joy state as well as to have sensitivity to calls I am being asked of at the moment (vv. 34-35).
  • What can I say about my ability of spiritual discerning? Do I heed God’s Word? Is it important for me to seek God’s will? Do I have a spiritual tutor or regular confessor? What do I want to deepen and to change in my spiritual formation?
  • I am focusing on a more careful attitude to the things which are “old” or “new” (vv. 35-39): elderly people, the old habits and customs, tradition, young generation, new ways of looking at things, new ideas, modernity, new forms of spiritual life…
  • How does my heart respond to the thought about new things and old ones? Can I make good use of both of  them? Can I combine them wisely, honor them, and not set off against them? I am asking Jesus sincerely: “Teach me patient discerning in order  to make a good use of  the new things and the old ones”.

At school of Our Lady: Mary teaches us to live authentically and according to the Gospel so that there is an ensemble between what we say and what we do. She calls us to examine our heart’s intention in every situation. Our Lady said: “I want to teach you sincerity with My Motherly love so that for you as My disciples to be precise, decisive and first of all sincere in your activities”.

The message of Our Lady the Queen of Peace through visionary Marija Pavlovic-Lunetti August, 25 2001

“Dear children! Today I call all of you to decide for holiness. May for you, little children, always in your thoughts and in each situation holiness be in the first place, in work and in speech. In this way, you will also put it into practice; little by little, step by step, prayer and decision for holiness will enter into your family. Be real with yourselves and do not bind yourselves to material things but to God. And do not forget, little children, that your life is as passing as a flower. Thank you for having responded to my call.”

Jesus, You are the truth. You are the One who is. You are a word and an action that do not diverge from each other. We want to be like You. We thank You for Mary who helps us to discern and name what is inside us. Mary, help us to gaze honestly at our hearts and to realize whether there is sincere desire to follow Jesus. Protect us from false devotion. Help us to find the answers to the question about what God expects of us, what we should or shouldn’t do.

THE  FOURTH  DAY

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit

Come Holy Spirit, come through the powerful intercession of the Immaculate Heart of the Most Pure Virgin Mary, Your most beloved Spouse! (3x)

Gospel according to Luke (Lk. 6, 1-5)

One Sabbath Jesus was going through the grainfields, and his disciples began to pick some heads of grain, rub them in their hands and eat the kernels. Some of the Pharisees asked: “Why are you doing what is unlawful on the Sabbath?”. Jesus answered them: “Have you never read what David did when he and his companions were hungry? He entered the house of God, and taking the consecrated bread, he ate what is lawful only for priests to eat. And he also gave some to his companions.” Then Jesus said to them: “The Son of Man is Lord of the Sabbath”.

To become more sensitive to the Word every time

Let’s pray for the ability to discern the daily events in the light of God’s Word

  • Іmaginatively I am taking part in the scene that is described by Luke. Jesus and His disciples are going through the grainfields. They are hungry. The wheat-ears have bent over, they are full of grain and look like the hands of Our Father Who bends over and whose hands are full of bread by which He feeds them (v.1)
  • In every life situation when I feel hungry or  personal trouble or helplessness Our Father bends over me. I need the eyes of faith to see His sensitivity and to allow Him to love me.
  • The Pharisees are unable to discern a loving care of Father. Their hearts are burdened with a letter of law. They are concentrated on the canon of law, they are unable to sympathize with hungry disciples (v. 2). Defending the law letter they lose a person.
  • Jesus helps Pharisees to contemplate this event more profoundly. He cites David as an example to move their hearts and open their eyes to the meaning of God’s law (vv. 3-4). Jesus helps me by His Word  to comprehend profoundly the meaning of the events and commandments every day.
  • There is a caring Father’s love hidden in God’s law and daily events. Can I see it every day? Can I say that I live according to commandments and rules and whether they make me closer to God and people?
  • “The Son of Man is Lord of the Sabbath” (v. 5). My healthy attitude towards the law depends on my connection with Jesus. He is a heart and Lord of any law. He is the only Word of Father.
  • In the sincere conversation with Jesus I’m confessing that I am striving for living according to commandments and given promises. I am going to renew my devotion and fidelity to Jesus. I am carrying a prayer in my heart: “Let Your Word reign in my life!”

At school of Our Lady:

Mary was guided to feel God’s presence at every moment of Her life. She teaches us to live the present moment in God’s presence. Let’s look for God together with Mary imagining Him helping us in this or that situation. Give Him thanks for His loving care. He is here. If we have close relationships with Him we will be able to endure even unpleasant situations. Connected with Him we become sensitive to His guidance and can react in the same way as He does. We are able to keep calm, we are above all this, we are with Him.

The message of Our Lady the Queen of Peace through visionary Marija Pavlovic-Lunetti April, 25  1997

“Dear children! Today I call you to have your life be connected with God the Creator, because only in this way will your life have meaning and you will comprehend that God is love. God sends me to you out of love, that I may help you to comprehend that without Him there is no future or joy and, above all, there is no eternal salvation. Little children, I call you to leave sin and to accept prayer at all times, that you may in prayer come to know the meaning of your life. God gives Himself to him who seeks Him. Thank you for having responded to my call”.

My Lord Jesus, thank You for Your example of a peaceful solution of even displeasing situations. You are the Lord of every day and every event. You’re always ready to help us respond so that it is for Your glory. Mary, help us not forget that the most important thing among laws and rules is to have a loving relationship with Jesus. Help us take the daily events in the light of His Word.

The blessing of the priest.

THE FIFTH  DAY

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit

Come Holy Spirit, come through the powerful intercession of the Immaculate Heart of the Most Pure Virgin Mary, Your most beloved Spouse! (3x)

Gospel according to Mark (Mk. 7, 31-37)

Then Jesus left the vicinity of Tyre and went through Sidon, down to the Sea of Galilee and into the region of the Decapolis. There some people brought to him a man who was deaf and could hardly talk, and they begged Jesus to place his hand on him. After he took him aside, away from the crowd, Jesus put his fingers into the man’s ears. Then he spit and touched the man’s tongue. He looked up to heaven and with a deep sigh said to him: “Ephphatha!” (which means “Be opened!”). At this, the man’s ears were opened, his tongue was loosened and he began to speak plainly. Jesus commanded them not to tell anyone. But the more he did so, the more they kept talking about it. People were overwhelmed with amazement. “He has done everything well”,- they said, – “He even makes the deaf hear and the mute speak”.

To learn to listen while praying

Let’s pray for a profound and immersed in prayer heart that is able to listen to God

  • I am watching the people who come with deaf-and-dumb persons to Jesus (v.32). I see them begging Jesus to heal the sick one. They wanted Him to place His hands on him. Jesus granted their request without their words. I am impressed by their faith and care.
  • I can also lead to Jesus ones who are dear to my heart. How often do I do this? Who would I most like to entrust to Him? What would I ask for? Do I believe that He can do everything?
  • I am standing beside Jesus to watch how He cures the sick one. I pay attention to every Jesus’s gesture (v. 33-35). First He takes him aside. Then He touches the diseased places of the body,  sighs to heaven and finally says to the deaf-and-dumb one: “Be opened!”. I see the joy of a healed man.
  • I realize that I am this sick person. Jesus is taking me aside and gazing at me closely. He wants my sore spots to be opened up. Do I allow Him to do this?
  • What hinders me the most from listening to Him? What prevents my sincere conversation with Him? What are the reasons for my being withdrawn into myself? I am begging Jesus to heal all sources of my fears and inner blockade.
  • I mention with thankfulness the moments when I was looking with amazement at Jesus  who healed me. I mention the people who then led  me to Him. Who was it? I am praying for them.
  • In a sincere prayer I am asking Jesus for sending me on my way good confessors and spiritual tutors who will help me open up to profound spiritual life. In a special way I will remember them in my prayers: “Jesus I give them to Your Spirit!”

At school of Our Lady:

Mary leads us to Jesus for Him to put His hands upon us and open our ears and  mouths so that we can speak clearly. Listening to Mary means doing everything that Jesus asks us for. Our Lady says: “Listen to Me because I want to speak to you and call you to believe more in God and trust Him Who loves you immeasurably”

The message of Our Lady the Queen of Peace through visionary  Mirjana Soldo April, 25  1997

“Dear children; I am with you for so much time and already for so long I have been pointing you to God’s presence and His infinite love, which I desire for all of you to come to know. And you, my children? You continue to be deaf and blind as you look at the world around you and do not want to see where it is going without my Son. You are renouncing Him – and He is the source of all graces. You listen to me while I am speaking to you, but your hearts are closed and you are not hearing me. You are not praying to the Holy Spirit to illuminate you. My children, pride has come to rule. I am pointing out humility to you. My children, remember that only a humble soul shines with purity and beauty because it has come to know the love of God. Only a humble soul becomes

Heaven, because my Son is in it. Thank you. Again I implore you to pray for those whom my Son has chosen – those are your shepherds”.

Mary, thank you for Your patience with which You lead us who are deaf, blind and mute to Your Son. We implore together with You: “Say to us: “Ephphatha!”. Open up to us and allow us to hear You and begin speaking clearly. Jesus, make our hearts to be like Yours, the hearts that are willing to venerate You and able to hear Your voice. Amen”.

THE  SIXTH  DAY

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit

Come Holy Spirit, come through the powerful intercession of the Immaculate Heart of the Most Pure Virgin Mary, Your most beloved Spouse! (3x)

Gospel according to Luke (Lk. 6, 6-11)

On another Sabbath he went into the synagogue and was teaching, and a man was there whose right hand was withered. The pharisees and the teachers of the law were looking for a reason to accuse Jesus, so they watched him closely to see if he would heal on the Sabbath. But Jesus knew what they were thinking and said to the man with the withered hand, “Get up and stand in front of everyone”. So he got up and stood there. Then Jesus said to them: “I ask you, which is lawful on the Sabbath: to do good or to do evil, to save life or to destroy it?”. He looked around at them all and then said to the man: “Stretch out your hand”. He did so and his hand was completely restored. But the pharisees and the teachers of the law were furious and began to discuss with one another what they might do to Jesus.

Discover your human dignity in Jesus

Let’s pray for a deep experience of our dignity which we have in God’s eyes.

  • I enter the synagogue where Jesus is teaching (v. 6-8). I am watching His deep gaze. He notices every person and penetrates the thoughts of the audience. He feels a history of a person’s grief. He reveals and corrects the intentions of the human heart.
  • I am watching Jesus’s gaze in silence. What feelings arise in my heart when our eyes meet and I realise that He knows me to the very depths? I am asking Him for help to look at myself with His eyes.
  • Jesus tells the sick man to get up and stand in the middle of the crowd (v. 8). I ask Him to help me better comprehend the symbolic meaning of this episode. I am standing beside the sick one to experience with him the encounter with Jesus.
  • Jesus rises man depressed with the sufferings (v.8). Jesus helps him lift up from his infirmity. He heals the sick one in front of everyone. He elevates everyone in the sick man from synagogue. He also elevates me from everything that casts my life down and induces me to give up.
  • Jesus invites a sick man in the middle of the temple and heals him (v. 8-10). He acts on the Sabbath, the day devoted to God. Jesus reminds me about the dignity which I have in God’s eyes. My life lived with dignity is the greatest glory of God. I am His temple.
  • What can I tell Jesus about my feeling of my own dignity? Is there anything that declines my importance? What is my “withered hand”? I am asking Jesus to raise me and heal my vision of myself.
  • I am finishing my contemplation with adoration. I glorify God the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit for my life and human dignity. I praise God for Jesus Who became a Man – “You are the most excellent among the sons of men”. I worship Jesus in His divine nature and human being. I pray the Litany to the Holy Name of Jesus

At school of Our Lady:

Mary as the Mother reminds us of our identity and who we are. In the midst of the world we can not forget that we are God’s children and we belong to Him and Her. She says to us: “Pray that God may give you the strength so that hope and pride may always reign in your heart and life because you are God’s children and carriers of His hope to this world that is without joy in the heart, and is without a future, because it does not have its heart open to God who is your salvation” (25.07.2012) “May you, little children, be led by the pride that you are Mine, and I am leading you to Him, Who is the Way, the Truth and the Life” (25.07.2024)

Our Lady of Medjugorje’s Annual Apparition to Jakov Colo December 25, 2021

“Dear children, you are and you are called “children of God”. If only your hearts would feel that immeasurable love which God has for you, your hearts would adore and give thanks to Him at every instant of your life. Therefore, little children, today, on this day of grace, open your hearts and implore the Lord for the gift of faith; so that you could truly become worthy of the name “children of God” who, with a pure heart, give thanks to and honor their Heavenly Father. I am beside you and am blessing you with My motherly blessing”.

Mary, You knew Who You are. Your heart leaped for joy when You heard from an angel that You are chosen one. You sang the song of praise and thanksgiving to God. Help us to realize our dignity and our value in Jesus. Help us to worship and give thanks for the gift of life and baptism, for our redemption through Jesus. We sing to God together with you: “My soul proclaims the greatness of the Lord” (pray Magnificat “My soul proclaims the greatness of the Lord”)

Magnificat: Lk 1, 46-55

My soul proclaims the greatness of the Lord,
and my spirit sings for joy to my Saviour God!
His lowly slave he looked upon in love;
they will call me happy now, for mighty are the works
he has done, and holy is his name.

In every age, for those who fear the Lord
come his mercy and the strength of his mighty arm:
he routs the proud, throws monarchs off their thrones,
while he lifts the lowly high, fills hungry ones with food,
and the rich sends empty away.

To Israel his servant he brings help
and the promise to our fathers is now fulfilled;
for Christ has come, according to his word,
and the mercy that he showed to Abraham is now
for his children’s children evermore.

Amen.

THE  SEVENTH  DAY

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit

Come Holy Spirit, come through the powerful intercession of the Immaculate Heart of the Most Pure Virgin Mary, Your most beloved Spouse! (3x)

Gospel according to Luke (Lk. 6, 12-19)

One of those days Jesus went out to a mountainside to pray, and spent the night praying to God. When morning came, he called his disciples to him and chose twelve of them, whom he also designated apostles: Simon (whom he named Peter), his brother Andrew, James, John, Philip, Bartholomew, Matthew, Thomas, James son of Alphaeus, Simon who was called the Zealot, Judas son of James, and Judas Iscariot, who became a traitor. He went down with them and stood on a level place. A large crowd of his disciples was there and a great number of people from all over Judea, from Jerusalem, and from the coast of Tyre and Sidon, who had come to hear him and to be healed of their diseases. Those troubled by evil spirits were cured, and the people all tried to touch him, because power was coming from him and healing them all.

Strive for Jesus

Let’s pray for a gift of deep striving in our prayer

  • I am accompanying Jesus Who is going to a mountainside to pray (v. 12). I am coming up to Him to spend the night praying with Him. If it is conducive to my spiritual good then I can plan a night meditation being on my guard with Jesus.
  • I am asking myself about my longing for prayer. Do I take time for lengthy prayer? Do I have my own “mountain” that is my favorite place of silence and personal prayer?
  • After the night prayer Jesus chooses the Twelve (vv.13-16). The selection of each disciple is a result of Jesus’s prayer. Each of them is received from Father and is given to Father. Jesus loves everyone even though they are different.
  • I am aware that Jesus doesn’t cease interceding for me before Our Father. He is constantly asking for me. He gives me every day  to Father Who has chosen me long before the creation of the world.
  • I am paying attention to “a great number of people” that are waiting for Jesus (vv. 17-18). They are thirsty for His word. They came from afar with a hope to be healed of their diseases. What do I expect from Jesus now? I am telling Him about my aspirations.
  • “The people all tried to touch him” (v. 19). I comprehend that I can touch Jesus in Communion every day. What can I say about my encounters with Jesus in Euсharist, in Holy Communion and during Adoration?
  • I am coming up to Him to touch Him with my “strivings”. I am repeating the prayer of striving more frequently : “My soul longs for You”.

At the school of Our Lady

Mary began to appear on Podbordo mountain in Medjugorje. She calls us to climb the mountain and spend time in prayer together with Her  in the evening and night. To pray with Mary means to pray with Jesus and the Church as well. She wants us to adore Jesus in Holy Gifts. Mary says when we worship Jesus we receive special graces.

The message of Our Lady the Queen of Peace through visionary Marija Pavlovic-Lunetti July, 25  1998

“Dear children! Today, little children, I invite you, through prayer, to be with Jesus, so that through a personal experience of prayer you may be able to discover the beauty of God’s creatures. You cannot speak or witness about prayer, if you do not pray. That is why, little children, in the silence of the heart, remain with Jesus, so that He may change and transform you with His love. This, little children, is a time of grace for you. Make good use of it for your personal conversion, because when you have God, you have everything. Thank you for having responded to My call”.

Jesus, Your prayer attracts. The pharisees’ prayer repels. We want to pray like You do. Thank You for every prayer in which we could feel the touch of Your love and which became a reason for our transfiguration. Thank You for Mary, for Her the most frequent call: “Pray, pray, pray with the heart”. Mary, help us to take time and find quiet places,  mountains and temples where we can spend time with Jesus. Jesus, we long for a prayer with the heart, we want to pray more. Amen.

THE  EIGHTH  DAY

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit

Come Holy Spirit, come through the powerful intercession of the Immaculate Heart of the Most Pure Virgin Mary, Your most beloved Spouse! (3x)

Gospel according to Luke (Lk. 6, 20-26)

Raising his eyes toward his disciples Jesus said: “Blessed are you who are poor, for the kingdom of God is yours.

Blessed are you who are now hungry, for you will be satisfied. Blessed are you who are now weeping, for you will laugh. Blessed are you when people hate you, and when they exclude and insult you, and denounce your name as evil on account of the Son of Man. Rejoice and leap for joy on that day! Behold, your reward will be great in heaven. For their ancestors treated the prophets in the same way. But woe to you who are rich, for you have received your consolation. But woe to you who are filled now, for you will be hungry. Woe to you who laugh now, for you will grieve and weep. Woe to you when all speak well of you, for their ancestors treated the false prophets in this way”.

Way of looking at things with Jesus’s eyes

Let’s pray for radical acceptance of values and life that is offered me by Jesus.

  • I am looking at Jesus. He is raising His eyes and is looking at me. He wants to tell me about a life He wishes for me. He wants to warn me of deceitful life.
  • In argent prayer I am calling on the Holy Spirit for me to discern correctly the way I walk through.
  • Jesus begins with a word “blessed” which is repeated four times and means “happy”. I am dwelling on each beatitude (vv. 20-23). I am listening to my heart’s movements.
  • I take notice of the happiness that Jesus promises in every beatitude which leads through difficult experience. The most important thing is a final future: eternal kingdom, eternal filling, eternal joy and great reward in heaven.
  • Can I trust Jesus’s words? Am I willing to walk this way? What feelings arise within me when I listen to Jesus? I am listening carefully to “woe” repeated four times by Jesus. I ponder each of them with the heart (vv. 24-26). What affects and  makes an impression on me the most ? What prevails in me: awareness or resistance?
  • I pay attention to a logic of four “woe” that are the contrast to a logic of beatitudes. The things that promise us wealth can take away the joy forever. Satiation can transform into suffering, laugh – into grief. Praise can turn out to be deceit.
  • Jesus teaches me to look at life from the perspective of eternity.  Only God and the things He promises me in His word are perfect and eternal. I give Him my life: “Jesus, teach me to look at life with Your eyes”.

At school of Our Lady:

Mary is blessed as She believed Jesus and followed Him. She is poor in spirit and She entrusted everything to God. She is blessed as She was comforted by God and looked for consolation only in God. She is blessed as She knew that only God could satisfy Her hunger. Mary was silent because She walked the path of peace. She wants to lead us.

The message of Our Lady the Queen of Peace through visionary Mirjana Soldo August, 2  2014

“Dear children, the reason that I am with you, my mission, is to help you for ‘good’ to win, even though this does not seem possible to you now. I know that you do not understand many things as I also did not understand everything, everything that my Son explained to me while He was growing up alongside me – but I believed Him and followed Him. I ask this of you also, to believe me and to follow me. However, my children, to follow me means to love my Son above everything, to love Him in every person without making differences. For you to be able to do this, I call you anew to renunciation, prayer and fasting. I am calling you for the Eucharist to be the life of your soul. I am calling you to be my apostles of light who will spread love and mercy through the world. My children, your life is only a blink in contrast to eternal life. And when you come before my Son, in your hearts He will see how much love you had. In order to spread love in the right way, I am asking my Son, through love, to grant you unity through Him, unity among you, unity between you and your shepherds. Through them my Son always gives Himself to you anew and renews your soul. Do not forget this. Thank you”.

Jesus, Your word astonishes. There, where we see a tragedy, You see a blessing. Thank You for Your sending us Mary to teach us to comprehend Your kingdom. Mary, lead us the way of blessings and daily contemplation of the Gospel. Help us to see the world with Jesus’s eyes. Amen.

THE  NINTH  DAY

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit

Come Holy Spirit, come through the powerful intercession of the Immaculate Heart of the Most Pure Virgin Mary, Your most beloved Spouse! (3x)

Gospel according to Luke (Lk. 6, 27-38)

“But I say to you who hear: “Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you,  bless those who curse you, pray for those who abuse you. To one who strikes you on the cheek, offer the other also, and from one who takes away your cloak do not withhold your tunic either. Give to everyone who begs from you, and from one who takes away your goods do not demand them back. And as you wish that others would do to you, do so to them.

“If you love those who love you, what benefit is that to you? For even sinners love those who love them. And if you do good to those who do good to you, what benefit is that to you? For even sinners do the same. And if you lend to those from whom you expect to receive, what credit is that to you? Even sinners lend to sinners, to get back the same amount. But love your enemies, and do good, and lend, expecting nothing in return, and your reward will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High, for he is kind to the ungrateful and the evil. Be merciful, even as your Father is merciful.

Judge not, and you will not be judged; condemn not, and you will not be condemned; forgive, and you will be forgiven; give, and it will be given to you. Good measure, pressed down, shaken together, running over, will be put into your lap. For with the measure you use it will be measured back to you”.

To be guided by kindness despite everything

Let’s pray for a heart filled with Jesus’s kindness and open to complicated love

  • I am sitting next to Jesus Who wants to tell me something difficult. I am comparing my life with His every word. I am accepting them as an invitation to a test of my conscience about love
  • Jesus wishes me to make considerable efforts: that’s to love my enemies (vv. 27-30). What feelings do these words evoke within me? I am frankly  telling Jesus about them.
  • I remember those who hate me, curse, judge and beat me. Am I willing to make the first advances of kindness for them? I am inviting Jesus to my most wounded relationships for Him to teach me to love.
  • “If you love those who love you…” (vv. 32-35). What are my relationships based on? Am I open to the affairs that are costly for me? Is there someone  whom I consciously avoid and reject? What people am I surrounded by?
  • Jesus calls me to mercy. He wishes me to treat others in a way Our Father treats me: to be  kind to the ungrateful and the evil (vv. 35-36). I am engaging in sincere conversation with Father. What do I want to tell Him?
  • I am listening to Jesus’s warnings: I shouldn’t judge or condemn anyone as it can lead to sufferings in my life (v.37) I am examining my deeds and talks. Do I permit condemnation? When and who does it happen most frequently with?
  • Jesus calls me not to be pity for myself in giving (v.38). Giving needs inner will: we should be able to lose in order to gain much. I am asking Jesus:”Teach me to give myself regardless of the person”.

At school of Our Lady

Mary’s call “love one another with God’s love” has something in common with today’s Gospel. To pray for those who haven’t yet got to know God’s love is one of the main intentions which She invites us to pray for in Medjugorje. She teaches us to be always ready to forgive, never condemn,  to try to comprehend our neighbor. Our Lady said: “Apostles of My love, pray for those who can’t love, who don’t love you, who have done evil to you and who didn’t get  to know the love of My Son. My children, that is what I am asking you for, therefore remember that to pray means to love and forgive” (02.12.2017).

The message of Our Lady the Queen of Peace through visionary Marija Pavlovic-Lunetti September, 25 1997

“Dear children! Today I call you to comprehend that without love you cannot comprehend that God needs to be in the first place in your life. That is why, little children, I call you all to love, not with a human but with God’s love. In this way, your life will be more beautiful and without an interest. You will comprehend that God gives Himself to you in the simplest way out of love. Little children, so that you may comprehend my words which I give you out of love, pray, pray, pray and you will be able to accept others with love and to forgive all who have done evil to you. Respond with prayer; prayer is a fruit of love towards God the Creator. Thank you for having responded to my call”.

Jesus, You call us “as I have loved you so you must love one another!”. Forgive us for not doing so. We long for growing in Your love. Mary, help us to conquer the seduction not to forgive and not ask for forgiveness. Help us forgive ourselves and others. I give you those who can’t forgive me. With Your intercession let’s every heart which we are in relationships with witness the strength of God’s love and forgiveness that gives peace. Amen.

THE  TENTH  DAY

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit

Come Holy Spirit, come through the powerful intercession of the Immaculate Heart of the Most Pure Virgin Mary, Your most beloved Spouse! (3x)

Gospel according to Luke (Lk. 6, 39-42)

He also told them this parable: “Can the blind lead the blind? Will they not both fall into a pit? The student is not above the teacher, but everyone who is fully trained will be like their teacher. “Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother’s eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye? How can you say to your brother: “Brother, let me take the speck out of your eye”, when you yourself fail to see the plank in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye.

Stand before God and yourself in truth

Let’s pray for a heart free of hypocrisy and sensitive to the truth

  • Jesus warns me of a blind and uncritical trust in people who are blind to the value of faith (v.39).  The more I feel my weakness and hesitation in faith the more I should seek the tried tutors for my spiritual life.
  • What environment am I the most often in? Does it help me to grow in faith? I am beseeching God to send me good tutors on my life path and for my willingness to accept them.
  • Humility and ability to listen are the virtues of a wise disciple. Owing to them a student will be like his teachers some day and become a tutor for others (v. 40). Am I able to listen to my life teachers  and accept their directions with simplicity?
  • Jesus warns me of pride and arrogance which induce me to interfere in others’ life without noticing my own weaknesses and sins (vv. 41-42).
  • What feelings arise within me when I hear Jesus’s word: “Hypocrite!” (v. 42). Don’t I notice a display of hypocrisy within me? If so then I will try to express it sincerely to Jesus. What would I like to ask Him for?
  • What conversations do I have about others? Do I try to speak with God in my personal prayer about my sins and wounds which hurts me the most?
  • Prayer is the best way to get to know yourself. In an ardent prayer I am asking Jesus to help me to look at my life in truth. I am constantly repeating: “Teach me to look at myself in truth!”

At school of Our Lady

Mary teaches us that prayer, fasting, daily pondering on Holy Scripture, spiritual guidance and living in the prayer communities help to get to know yourself in truth. “Dear children, with a motherly love and a motherly patience I am looking at your ceaseless wandering and how lost you are. That is why I am with you. I desire to help you to first find and come to know yourself, so that, then, you would be able to recognize and to admit everything that does not permit you to get to know the love of the Heavenly Father, honestly and wholeheartedly” (02.12.2013)

The message of Our Lady the Queen of Peace through visionary  Mirjana Soldo July, 02  2007

“Dear children! In the great love of God, I come to you today to lead you on the way of humility and meekness. The first station on that way, my children, is confession. Reject your arrogance and kneel down before my Son. Comprehend, my children, that you have nothing and you can do nothing. The only thing that is yours and what you possess is sin. Be cleansed and accept meekness and humility. My Son could have won with strength, but He chose meekness, humility and love. Follow my Son and give me your hand so that, together, we may climb the mountain and win. Thank you!”

Mary, Our Mother, Most Prudent Virgin, You are the best disciple of Jesus. Intercede for us so that we will be able to listen to Jesus humbly and in truth and keep His word in our hearts. Intercede for us so that we can be sensitive to the voice of conscience, to love life in truth, grow under Your protection getting to know ourselves. Amen

THE  ELEVENTH  DAY

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit

Come Holy Spirit, come through the powerful intercession of the Immaculate Heart of the Most Pure Virgin Mary, Your most beloved Spouse! (3x)

Gospel according to John (Jn. 3, 13-17)

No one has ascended into heaven except He who descended from heaven, the Son of Man. And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, so must the Son of Man be lifted up, that whoever believes in Him may have eternal life. For God so loved the world, that He gave His only Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through Him.

Embrace Crucified One

Let’s pray for a life in truth and a deep repentance for our sins

  • I am trying to repent in front of the Crucified Jesus. If it does spiritual good to me I will also reflect on it at night.
  • I imagine myself to be present at Nicodemus’s night conversation with Jesus (v.13). Nicodemus’s wish came true: he can encounter Jesus in private. The depth of my meetings with Jesus depends on the depth of my desires. What can I say about my aspirations in this meditation?
  • “And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness…”(v.16). Jesus Who dies on the Cross has the power to save my life every day. But He needs my faith. If I fail to notice and accept His love with faith He will die “outside my life”.
  • “God so loved the world…” (v.16). Looking at the Cross I am pondering with love every word of this sentence. I am aware that the only Child of God the Father is hanging on the Cross. He is dying for me. I am “the whole God’s world”. I am the only child for Him as well as every person.
  • Jesus assures me that God doesn’t want my condemnation but my salvation (v. 17). I am the one who condemns myself when I doubt His saving love. Lack of faith in God’s love and mercy will lead me to an inner anxious, doubts and self-rejection. Do I believe that God loves me boundlessly? Am I not afraid of Him? Do I not notice that I am inclined to self-condemnation?
  • Contemplating the wounds of the Crucified One I talk to Him frankly about my heart’s wounds. I am imploring Him to reveal my sins which hurt Him the most. I am evoking within myself a deep sorrow because of my lawlessness. I am praying  Psalm 50.

At school of Our Lady:

Mary teaches us to love suffering and crucified Jesus, contemplate the way of the cross every Friday, honor the Cross in our families, to pray in front of the Cross, honor Jesus’s wounds and pray with the cross in our hands and unite our sufferings with His ones.

The message of Our Lady the Queen of Peace through visionary Marija Pavlovic-Lunetti March, 25  1997

“Dear children! Today, in a special way, I invite you to take the cross in the hands and to meditate on the wounds of Jesus. Ask Jesus to heal your wounds, which you, dear children, sustained during your life  because of your sins or the sins of your parents. Only in this way, dear children, will you understand that the world is in need of healing of faith in God the Creator. By Jesus’ passion and death on the cross, you will understand that only through prayer you, too, can become true apostles of faith; when, in simplicity and prayer, you live faith which is a gift.Thank you for having responded to my call”.

Crucified Jesus, I love You. Thank You for Mary under the Cross Who calls us: “Dear children! Let your hearts burn with more ardent love for Crucified, don’t forget that out of love for you He gave His life for you to be saved”. Jesus we kneel down in front of Your Cross and thank You for Your death for us out of love. Mary, help us to be conscious of those sins which hurt His love the most, we ask for a grace of sincerely repentance and regret.

Amen.

THE  TWELFTH  DAY

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit

Come Holy Spirit, come through the powerful intercession of the Immaculate Heart of the Most Pure Virgin Mary, Your most beloved Spouse! (3x)

Gospel according to John (Jn. 19, 25-27)

Near the cross of Jesus stood his mother, his mother’s sister, Mary the wife of Clopas, and Mary Magdalene. When Jesus saw his mother there, and the disciple whom he loved standing nearby, he said to her: “Woman, here is your son”, – and to the disciple: “Here is your mother”. From that time on this disciple took her into his home.

Contemplate Jesus’s love together with Mary

Let’s pray for the grace of loving Jesus in the way Mary did.

  • John is the only one of the evangelists who describes a special meeting of Jesus with His Mother on Calvary. I am standing with Sorrowful Mary and beloved disciple near the cross of Jesus (v. 25). I am praying to John for me to give the grace of contemplating this event.
  • John first draws my attention to Jesus’s gaze (v. 26). I imagine His deadly pale face which is bled and His gaze full of love which penetrate the very depths. Jesus is looking at His Mother and disciple. He is also looking at me. He is embracing with His look everyone without exception.
  • I am reflecting on Jesus’s gaze. Everytime when I see Crucified One I can say that He is looking at me. I am His beloved disciple. He wants me to believe that He is dying for the sake of me. Do I believe this?
  • Jesus crucified on the cross is talking to His Mother about me. He is pointing to me and says: “Behold this is Your son” (v. 26). Crucified Jesus gives His life for my sake and gives me to His Mother. He remembers me to the end.
  • I am embracing Jesus’s legs together with Mary and contemplating His love. I am giving Him thanks for Mary. I always see His tenderness and loving gaze in Her Motherly look.
  • Jesus is breathing His last and can hardly talk to me. He is looking at Mary and says: “Behold this is your Mother” (v. 27). I am approaching Mary and nestling up to Her Sorrowful Heart and I confirm before Jesus: “You are my Mother!”
  • I am taking Mary home and I am taking Her to my daily life. I am showing Her people and places I love the most as well as those ones that hurt me the most. I am repeating like a child: “Teach me to love Jesus and my neighbors whom I live every day with”.

At school of Our Lady:

According to the visionaries’ testimony it’s very difficult to describe Mary’s love. There are no words to describe the beauty of Mary’s love, her motherly warmth, the gaze which She looks at each of us with. “If you knew how much I love you you’d cry of joy. My children, I understand your pains and sufferings. Who can understand you better than Mother? I am your Mother.”

The message of Our Lady the Queen of Peace through visionary  Mirjana Soldo November, 2  2016

“Dear children, to come to you and to make myself known to you is a great joy for my motherly heart. It is a gift from my Son for you and for others who are coming. As a mother I am calling you: love my Son above everything. In order to love Him with all your heart, you need to come to know Him. You will come to know Him through prayer. Pray with the heart and with your feelings. To pray means to think of His love and sacrifice. To pray means to love, to give, to suffer and to offer. I am calling you, my children, to be apostles of prayer and love. My children, it is a time of vigilance. In this vigil I am calling you to prayer, love and trust. As my Son will be looking in your hearts, my motherly heart desires for Him to see unconditional trust and love in them. The united love of my apostles will live, will conquer and will expose evil. My children, I was a chalice of the God-man; I was God’s instrument. That is why I am calling you, my apostles, to be a chalice of the true and pure love of my Son. I am calling you to be an instrument through which all those who have not come to know the love of God—who have never loved—may comprehend, accept and be saved. Thank you, my children”.

Mary, my Mother, nobody loved Jesus as much as You did. I beg You help me to love Him above all like You do. I want to listen to You. Help me to live according to Your Motherly advice. Help us to be at the foot of the Cross, asking for perseverance and true love for Him and those neighbors whom I live every day with. Amen.

THE  THIRTEENTH  DAY

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit

Come Holy Spirit, come through the powerful intercession of the Immaculate Heart of the Most Pure Virgin Mary, Your most beloved Spouse! (3x)

Gospel according to Luke (Lk. 7, 1-10)

After Jesus had finished all his sayings in the hearing of the people, he entered Capernaum. A centurion there had a slave whom he valued highly and who was ill and close to death. When he heard about Jesus, he sent some Jewish elders to him, asking him to come and heal his slave. When they came to Jesus, they appealed to him earnestly, saying, “He is worthy to have you do this for him, for he loves our people, and it is he who built our synagogue for us”. And Jesus went with them, but when he was not far from the house, the centurion sent6 Then fear [a]came upon all, and they glorified God, saying, “A great prophet has risen up among us”; and, “God has visited His people.” 17 And this report about Him went throughout all Judea and all the surrounding region. friends to say to him: “Lord, do not trouble yourself, for I am not worthy to have you come under my roof; therefore I did not presume to come to you. But only speak the word, and let my servant be healed. For I also am a man set under authority, with soldiers under me, and I say to one: “Go” and he goes, and to another: “Come” and he comes, and to my slave: “Do this” and the slave does it”. When Jesus heard this he was amazed at him, and, turning to the crowd following him, he said: “I tell you, not even in Israel have I found such faith”. When those who had been sent returned to the house, they found the slave in good health.

Trust Jesus entirely

Let’s pray for boundless trust in Jesus in times of sufferings and crisis

  • I am paying attention to an atmosphere of love and respect which reigns among centurion, his slave and Jewish elders (v. 2-5). The centurion is asking for his sick slave and Jewish elders are asking for the centurion. The sufferings of the slave brings them closer to Jesus and to each other.
  • What can I say about my affairs in my family, in the community and at my work. I am telling Jesus about them. Whom would I like to entrust Him today the most?
  • I am contemplating Jesus Who is listening to the intercessors of the sick one and starts going to the centurion’s house (v. 6). I realize that Jesus wants to be invited to my home and to my daily chores. He is ready to go there where I am suffering and where suffering those who are dear to my heart.
  • I am asking myself before Jesus what exactly needs the healing at my home and in the community the most? Where do I want to invite Jesus to? What disturbs my heart and thoughts the most?
  • I am listening to the centurion’s acknowledgement. He believes Jesus’s word. He believes in the strength of His word. He is convinced of the healing by a single Jesus’s word. I am begging for the grace of a deep faith in the power of God’s word.
  • I remember the words of Holy Scripture which had a special meaning in my life. What kind of words were there? I will try to apply to them more often and pray with them to Jesus.
  • The strong faith of the centurion made a deep impression on Jesus. What would Jesus say about me and my spiritual life? What would Jesus find in my heart today?
  • I am coming up to Jesus and acknowledging Him in plain words like the centurion that I am of small importance and unworthy. I am inviting Him “under my roof”. I am asking Him for me to be healed from everything that makes my faith weaker and colder.

At the school of Our Lady

Mary shares with us: “Dear children! My earthly life was simple. I loved and I rejoiced in small things. I loved life – the gift from God – even though pain and sufferings pierced my heart. My children, I had the strength of faith and boundless trust in God’s love. All those who have the strength of faith are stronger. Faith makes you live according to what is good and then the light of God’s love always comes at the desired moment. That is the strength which sustains in pain and suffering. My children, pray for the strength of faith, trust in the Heavenly Father, and do not be afraid” (18.03.2018)

The message of Our Lady the Queen of Peace through visionary  Mirjana Soldo October, 2  2008

“Dear children! Again I call you to faith. My Motherly Heart desires for your heart to be open, so that it could say to your heart: believe. My children, only faith will give you strength in life’s trials. It will renew your soul and open the ways of hope. I am with you. I gather you around Me because I desire to help you, so that you can help your neighbors to discover faith, which is the only joy and happiness of life. Thank you”.

Jesus, You were moved by centurion’s faith. I am still so far from such faith in Your word as the centurion had. Lord say only the word and my faith will be healed. I plead You for help for my unbelief. Holy Spirit, multiply my faith. Mary, You said: “May the roots of your faith be prayer and hope in eternal life” (25.02.2017). Help us to see what weakens and cools our faith. Help us to work at our own conversion for our faith to be strong, clear and enduring. Amen.

Amen.

 THE  FOURTEENTH  DAY

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit

Come Holy Spirit, come through the powerful intercession of the Immaculate Heart of the Most Pure Virgin Mary, Your most beloved Spouse! (3x)

Gospel according to Luke (Lk. 7, 11-17)

Now it happened, the day after, that He went into a city called Nain; and many of His disciples went with Him, and a large crowd. And when He came near the gate of the city, behold, a dead man was being carried out, the only son of his mother; and she was a widow. And a large crowd from the city was with her. When the Lord saw her, He had compassion on her and said to her: “Do not weep”. Then He came and touched the open coffin, and those who carried him stood still. And He said: “Young man, I say to you, arise!”. So he who was dead sat up and began to speak. And He presented him to his mother. Then fear came upon all, and they glorified God, saying: “A great prophet has risen up among us”; and: “God has visited His people”. And this report about Him went throughout all Judea and all the surrounding region.

Trust in Jesus

Let’s pray for a boundless trust in Jesus

  • Jesus, surrounded by a crowd, leaves for Nain. Near the gate of the city He encounters a funeral  procession (v. 11-12). I am looking at Jesus and His gentle conversation with a weeping mother. He is deeply moved and wants to soothe her pain (v. 13).
  • I am thinking of Jesus Who is so sensitive to my suffering. My tears are His tears, my pains are His pains. Is the face of Jesus, Who is sympathetic and caring, near me?
  • I am dwelling upon a scene of a young man’s resurrection  (v. 14-17). I am standing up among the crowd to watch this unusual event closely. I am paying attention to Jesus’s gestures and His every word.
  • I am looking at the young man who comes back to life and at the crowd that is seized with fear. I am hearing them glorifying God and full of admiration recognizing Jesus as a prophet. I can only imagine his mother’s joy.
  • Nothing is impossible for Jesus. According to His word the affairs which seem to be hopeless and “buried” are filled again with a strength of life. Is Jesus almighty God for me? I acknowledge before Him my deepest feelings and excitements.
  • At the end of my conversation with Jesus I am proceeding with a glorifying prayer. Together with the young man’s mother and the crowd I rejoice in His almighty. I am repeating with faith: “Jesus, everything is possible for You!”

At the school of Our Lady

Medjugorje is a place where Jesus makes miracles under the intercession of Mary. Mary calls us: “Pray, live My messages so that you will see the miracles of God’s love in your daily life”. To live Her main messages means to do everything Jesus asks for in the prayer, in the Gospel, in the Holy Confession, in the Eucharist and in a  heart which is purified by fasting and filled with good deeds.

The message of Our Lady the Queen of Peace through visionary Marija Pavlovic-Lunetti October, 25  2002

“Dear children! Also today I call you to prayer. Little children, believe that by simple prayer miracles can be worked. Through your prayer you open your heart to God and He works miracles in your life. By looking at the fruits, your heart fills with joy and gratitude to God for everything He does in your life and, through you, also to others. Pray and believe little children, God gives you graces and you do not see them. Pray and you will see them. May your day be filled with prayer and thanksgiving for everything that God gives you. Thank you for having responded to My call”.

Jesus, my heart is moved and grateful for innumerable miracles You have made with the intercession of Your Mother. You are almighty. Mary says to us in Medjugorje that You send Her to pray for us and help us. “I am ready to intercede with God for all that you seek so that your holiness may be complete. Therefore, dear children, do not forget to seek, because God has permitted me to obtain graces for you” (25.08.1987). Mary, obtain for us a boundless trust in God.

 THE  FIFTEENTH  DAY

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit

Come Holy Spirit, come through the powerful intercession of the Immaculate Heart of the Most Pure Virgin Mary, Your most beloved Spouse! (3x)

Gospel according to Luke (Lk. 7, 31-35)

31 Jesus went on to say: “To what, then, can I compare the people of this generation? What are they like? 32 They are like children sitting in the marketplace and calling out to each other: “We played the pipe for you, and you did not dance; we sang a dirge, and you did not cry”. 33 For John the Baptist came neither eating bread nor drinking wine, and you say: “He has a demon”. 34 The Son of Man came eating and drinking, and you say: “Here is a glutton and a drunkard, a friend of tax collectors and sinners”. 35 But wisdom is proved right by all her children”.

To accept Jesus in a way as He strives to reveal Himself to me

Let’s pray for a complete obeying Jesus and faithful endurance with Him

  • I am listening to Jesus. He is suffering from being rejected by people. The greatest Love has been struck by the biggest wound. I am not able to comprehend with my compassion wounded Jesus and to grasp with my brain and heart the depth of His love.
  • I am asking Jesus for me to give the grace of feeling compassion for Him in His pain of rejecting and misunderstanding which He goes through. I am asking Him to penetrate my heart with His wounded love.
  • Jesus compares people’s behavior with capricious children that are looking only for their own satisfaction (v. 32-33). They want everybody to “dance” in a way like they play and to cry as they do. They want Jesus to be One Who satisfies their expectations.
  • Does Jesus’s comparison remind me of the similar situations of my life? Do I observe the similar behaviors in my family,  my community, my personal life?
  • Jesus is worried  about people’s attitude towards His predecessor, John the Baptist, whom they rejected (v. 34). Hurting John they hurt Jesus. They also transferred their attitude towards John to Jesus.
  • I mention those who show me Jesus in my life. They are for me the witnesses of true faith. How do I accept them? Do I give thanks to God for them? What am I grateful to Jesus for when I am looking at their life?
  • Jesus is being challenged and blamed for His friendship with tax collectors and sinners (v. 34). I am worshiping Jesus Who is wounded and rejected in His love.
  • I am glorifying Him for fidelity that is greater than my sin: “Jesus, Friend of sinners, have mercy on the world”.

At the school of Our Lady

Jesus is rejected by those who didn’t get to know His love. He calls us to compassion. He is rejected in our neighbors, in those who are despised, poor and have no voice in this world, without God.

The message of Our Lady the Queen of Peace through visionary Marija Pavlovic-Lunetti July, 25  2020

Dear children! In this peaceless time in which the devil is harvesting souls to draw them to himself, I am calling you to persevering prayer, so that in prayer you discover the God of love and hope. Little children, take the Cross in your hands. May it be your encouragement for love to always win, in a special way now when the Cross and faith are rejected. You be a reflection and an example with your lives that faith and hope are still alive and a new world of peace is possible. I am with you and intercede for you before my Son, Jesus. Thank you for having responded to my call”.

Mary, Our Mother, You have never forgotten about Jesus. Your Heart trembled together with His Devine One especially when He was rejected and misunderstood. Help me to share with Him His pain of  rejection. Give me a sympathetic heart. Jesus, my Friend, I want to be near by You, I want to comfort You. Amen.

 THE  SIXTEENTH  DAY

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit

Come Holy Spirit, come through the powerful intercession of the Immaculate Heart of the Most Pure Virgin Mary, Your most beloved Spouse! (3x)

Gospel according to Luke (Lk. 7, 36-50)

36 One of the Pharisees asked Jesus to eat with him, and he went into the pharisee’s house and took his place at the table. 37 And a woman in the city, who was a sinner, having learned that he was eating in the pharisee’s house, brought an alabaster jar of ointment. 38She stood behind him at his feet, weeping, and began to bathe his feet with her tears and to dry them with her hair. Then she continued kissing his feet and anointing them with the ointment. 39Now when the pharisee who had invited him saw it, he said to himself: “If this man were a prophet, he would have known who and what kind of woman this is who is touching him—that she is a sinner”. 40Jesus spoke up and said to him: “Simon, I have something to say to you”. “Teacher”, – he replied, – “speak”. 41”A certain creditor had two debtors; one owed five hundred denarii, and the other fifty. 42 When they could not pay, he canceled the debts for both of them. Now which of them will love him more?” 43Simon answered: “I suppose the one for whom he canceled the greater debt”. And Jesus said to him: “You have judged rightly”. 44Then turning towards the woman, he said to Simon: “Do you see this woman? I entered your house; you gave me no water for my feet, but she has bathed my feet with her tears and dried them with her hair. 45You gave me no kiss, but from the time I came in she has not stopped kissing my feet. 46 You did not anoint my head with oil, but she has anointed my feet with ointment. 47Therefore, I tell you, her sins, which were many, have been forgiven; hence she has shown great love. But the one to whom little is forgiven, loves little”. 48Then he said to her: “Your sins are forgiven”. 49 But those who were at the table with him began to say among themselves: “Who is this who even forgives sins?” 50 And he said to the woman: “Your faith has saved you; go in peace”.

Ask for a purity and peace of the heart

Let’s pray for a simplicity, openness in meetings with Jesus and for a purity of heart

  • I am entering the pharisee’s house together with Jesus (v. 36-38). I am sitting down at the table. I am paying attention to the sinful woman who is approaching Jesus with great tenderness and faith. Simon and the guests are confused. How can she do it? Why is He accepting her?
  • What does this woman’s behavior make me feel? What can I say about my relationship with Jesus at the moment when I feel like being a great sinner? Can I approach Him as she did? What does my prayer look like then?
  • I am watching the simplicity and openness of the woman. She is focused only on Jesus (v. 38). Simon’s attitude towards Jesus is different. He is hidden and full of suspicions. He doesn’t share his feelings (v. 39). Which behavior  suits me best?
  • I am listening to Jesus’s word about generosity and love of the woman (vv. 44-47). He noticed her every gesture and said that “she has shown great love”. What can I say about my generosity and love? I am asking Jesus of showing  me what makes Him happy in my behavior the most.
  • Then I am listening to Jesus’s words which were spoken to Simon: “You gave me no…”, “You didn’t…” (vv. 44-47). What else can not I give Jesus? What am I cold and indifferent to before Jesus ?
  • “Her sins, which were many, have been forgiven…” (v. 47). I realize that Jesus wants to say to me the same words. He sees the very depth of my being, knows my thoughts, heart and conscience. I am asking Him for me to feel His forgiving love especially in the Sacrament of Penance.
  • I am embracing Jesus and bathing His feet with my tears. I am kissing Him. I am asking: “Jesus, renew in me the purity and peace of the heart!”

At the school of Our Lady

Mary leads us to Jesus in the sincere Holy Confession. She calls us to confess with the heart every month. Peace in the heart means a pure heart.

The message of Our Lady the Queen of Peace through visionary Marija Pavlovic-Lunetti February, 25  2007

“Dear children! Open your heart to God’s mercy in this Lenten time. The Heavenly Father desires to deliver each of you from the slavery of sin. Therefore, little children, make good use of this time and through meeting with God in confession, leave sin and decide for holiness. Do this out of love for Jesus, who redeemed you all with His blood, that you may be happy and in peace. Do not forget, little children: your freedom is your weakness, therefore follow my messages with seriousness. Thank you for having responded to my call”.

Mary, thank You for Your reminding us of the value of the Holy Confession. Thank You for Your teaching us to confess with the heart. You call us to pave the path to Jesus through prayer and fasting. Help us to be honest and open in the Holy Confession so that we will be able to witness profoundly His forgiving love and peace in the heart. Amen.

 THE  SEVENTEENTH  DAY

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit

Come Holy Spirit, come through the powerful intercession of the Immaculate Heart of the Most Pure Virgin Mary, Your most beloved Spouse! (3x)

Gospel according to Luke (Lk. 8, 1-3)

1 After this, Jesus traveled about from one town and village to another, proclaiming the good news of the kingdom of God. The Twelve were with him, 2 and also some women who had been cured of evil spirits and diseases: Mary (called Magdalene) from whom seven demons had come out; 3 Joanna the wife of Chuza, the manager of Herod’s household; Susanna; and many others. These women were helping to support them out of their own means.

Surrender to Jesus with all our beings

For the healing of my soul from my enslavements and complete belonging to Jesus

  • I am thinking of Jesus Who traveled about from one town and village to another proclaiming the good news (v. 1). I am joining the Twelve and some women who are Jesus’s friends. I can imagine people who nestle to Him. He brings them joy, peace of the heart and cures them…
  • I imagine Jesus Who comes to my house, my family and community. He is approaching me and my beloved ones… I am asking Him to open my mind to the words which He wants to leave us. What words from the Holy Scripture have moved me the most lately?
  • Jesus’s word is filled with power. It makes the evil spirits and weaknesses get out of the people (v. 2). I realize that every day Jesus leaves me a word that can cure me and give freedom back. Which of the words of today’s Gospel touches and strengthens me? I am repeating this word with faith.
  • What weakens my will the most? What places do I feel attacked by a tempter the most in? I am opening to Jesus in my weakness. I am asking Him to free me from evil spirits that torment me.
  • Luke mentions by name the women who were cured by Jesus (v. 3). I am bringing to Him persons who are the dearest for me, who suffer and are wounded, morally and spiritually lost as well. I am telling Him about them and calling them by name. I am begging Jesus with faith to save them!
  • I will see the happiness in the eyes of the cured women. They are free from their weaknesses. They are attached to Jesus. They are giving thanks to Him for everything. They are serving Him with love. Do I feel happy? What events of my life have brought me to Jesus the closest?
  • I am joining the women in order to fill myself with their happiness and the peace of the heart. They serve Jesus with their own means (v. 3). I am repeating with them: “Jesus, You are all my estate”.

At the school of Our Lady

Mary teaches us to pray for an experience of God’s love. One who had experienced it met Jesus and his life is changing. He nestles to Jesus.  He becomes a disciple and witnesses with prayer, love, good acts in silence as Mary did. He proclaims love with concrete acts of love to the neighbors and brings them closer to Jesus.

The message of Our Lady the Queen of Peace through visionary Marija Pavlovic-Lunetti February, 25 2000

“Dear children! Wake up from the sleep of unbelief and sin, because this is a time of grace which God gives you. Use this time and seek the grace of healing of your heart from God, so that you may see God and man with the heart. Pray in a special way for those who have not come to know God’s love, and witness with your life so that they also can come to know God and His immeasurable love. Thank you for having responded to my call”.

Mary, thank You for teaching us about the importance of praying for the experience of God’s love.We pray with You: “Jesus, come with the power of Your love. Heal us, release us from our weaknesses, evil spirits that torment us so that we will be able with joyful hearts to join the twelve and the women who got to know Your love and attached to You with all their beings. Mary, we want to be like You. Help us to proclaim Good News with a prayer and good deeds as You. Amen”.

 THE  EIGHTEENTH  DAY

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit

Come Holy Spirit, come through the powerful intercession of the Immaculate Heart of the Most Pure Virgin Mary, Your most beloved Spouse! (3x)

Gospel according to Matthewe (Matt. 9, 9-13)

9 As Jesus went on from there, He saw a man named Matthew sitting at the tax collector’s booth. “Follow me”, – He told him, and Matthew got up and followed Him. 10 While Jesus was having dinner at Matthew’s house, many tax collectors and sinners came and ate with Him and His disciples. 11 When the pharisees saw this, they asked His disciples: “Why does your teacher eat with tax collectors and sinners?” 12 On hearing this, Jesus said: “It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. 13 But go and learn what this means: “I desire mercy, not sacrifice”. For I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners”.

APPROACH  JESUS  WITH OUR   SINFULNESS

Let’s pray for a profound experience of  the healing love of Jesus

  • I imagine Jesus coming up to Mattew who is busy working in the customs house. I am contemplating the Teacher’s face and His loving gaze at Matthew. He saw him and “called  him” (v. 9).

  • I imagine the reaction of an astonished tax collector: his gestures, amazement of the face and his confusion (v. 9). The personality of Jesus, His gaze and words obviously touched Matthew’s heart deeply because he left his occupation and followed Him.
  • I remember the period of my life when I was fascinated and impressed by Jesus’s personality. What circumstances did it take place under? I remember the details of this event and I am telling Jesus about them with gratitude.
  • I imagine the next scene that seemed to pharisees to be shocking and scandalous: that’s Jesus surrounded by the tax collectors and sinners (vv. 10-11). I am watching Jesus sitting among the marginals.
  • What feelings arise within me when I imagine this scene? Can I imagine Jesus, meeting and eating with people that are supposed to be the worst? Do I feel joy or inner resistance? I am honestly sharing my feelings with Jesus.
  • I am dwelling upon Jesus’s words: “For I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners” (v. 13). I am pondering on the fact that after all Jesus says these words personally to me. He calls me to come to Him  in simplicity especially when I am burdened with a sin.
  • I am inviting Jesus to all those periods of my life in which I am the weakest and sick. I am imploring Him to cure me.

At the school of Our Lady

Mary calls us to adore Jesus in the Most Blessed Sacrament of the Altar. When You worship Jesus you receive special graces. We contemplate the Face of Jesus in the Eucharist. Jesus looks at us gently, as at Matthew, with a gaze that penetrates everything. Let’s seek Jesus in the Most Blessed Sacrament of the Altar today, let’s allow Him to see those places and areas of our lifespan which are or were burdened with a sin. If we are unable to be with Him at the adoration then let’s be with Him at the foot of the Cross.

The message of Our Lady the Queen of Peace through visionary Marija Pavlovic-Lunetti March, 25  2008

“Dear children! I call you to work on your personal conversion. You are still far from meeting with God in your heart. Therefore, spend all the more time in prayer and Adoration of Jesus in the Most Blessed Sacrament of the Altar, for Him to change you and to put into your hearts a living faith and a desire for eternal life. Everything is passing, little children, only God is not passing. I am with you and I encourage you with love. Thank you for having responded to my call”.

Mary, help us to seek Jesus in the Most Blessed Sacrament of the Altar, to be in front of His gaze of mercy. Jesus, change our gaze according to Your one. We strive to  abandon all our lawlessness and follow You. Mary, You said: “Apostles of my love: you strive to look to the very depth in human hearts and there you are certain to find the little hidden treasure. To look in this way is mercy from the Heavenly Father. To seek the good even where there is the greatest evil – to strive to comprehend each other and not to judge – that is what my Son is asking of you”. Mary, help us to realize Your call.

The prayer of consecration to Jesus through Mary

Holy Virgin Mary, today before You and in Your hands I renew and confirm the vows of Holy Baptism.

 THE  NINETEENTH  DAY

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit

Come Holy Spirit, come through the powerful intercession of the Immaculate Heart of the Most Pure Virgin Mary, Your most beloved Spouse! (3x)

The Gospel according to Mark (Mk. 9, 30-37)

30 They left that place and passed through Galilee. Jesus did not want anyone to know where they were, 31 because he was teaching his disciples. He said to them: “The Son of Man is going to be delivered into the hands of men. They will kill him, and after three days he will rise”. 32 But they did not understand what he meant and were afraid to ask him about it. 33 They came to Capernaum. When he was in the house, he asked them: “What were you arguing about on the road?” 34 But they kept quiet because on the way they had argued about who was the greatest. 35 Sitting down, Jesus called the Twelve and said: “Anyone who wants to be first must be the very last, and the servant of all”. 36 He took a little child whom he placed among them. Taking the child in his arms, he said to them: 37 “Whoever welcomes one of these little children in my name welcomes me; and whoever welcomes me does not welcome me but the one who sent me”.

Become simple and modest as a child

Let’s pray for love for childish simplicity and modesty

  • I am listening attentively to Jesus’s conversation with disciples. He is telling them that He will suffer, he will be killed and then He will rise. I see confusion and astonishment on the disciple’s faces.  They did not understand Jesus’s words and were silent out of fear (vv. 30-32).
  • I mention the difficult experiences of my life and the insults which meanings I haven’t understood yet and which are made by people. Can I talk about them with Jesus? Are there any complicated topics in my life that I am afraid of  talking to Him about? If so then why?
  • I am paying attention to a sharp contrast between Jesus’s words about His humiliation and the disciples’ behavior who argue about who is the greatest among them (v. 31-34)
  • I am looking at myself and my following Jesus so far. Am I willing for the sake of Him to take a risk of being humiliated, unpopular and rejected? Is there within me a tendency towards seeking of myself and exalting myself at the expense of others? What things am I ashamed of the most before Jesus? I am telling Him about this.
  • Jesus explains to me that a true greatness of life is being the very last among all and a servant of all (v. 35). What feelings do I have when hearing His expression?
  • I am getting involved in specific situations in my life. Can I imagine myself to be the last and a servant at work which I know very well and among people who I live with every day? What causes the greatest resistance within me? Are there any jobs or services that I feel ashamed of and people who I wouldn’t like to work and live with in one community?
  • I am pondering on Jesus Who is embracing a little child (v. 36-37). I am asking Him with all my heart for me to grow up in simplicity, submission and total obedience of His will. I am throwing myself into His embrace praying Psalm 131.

At the school of Our Lady

It goes without saying that Mary didn’t miss a single word that had been said by Jesus. She listened to Him attentively even though She didn’t understand everything. She kept words in Her heart. Mary teaches us to pray with heart, listen to Jesus, not to be afraid of  Him, make friends with Him. In every prayer Jesus wants to say something personal, only for us. Jesus is sad when I listen to myself instead of Him. Mary said:”You cannot speak or witness about prayer, if you do not pray. That is why, little children, in the silence of the heart, remain with Jesus, so that He may change and transform you with His love” (25.07.1998). To be transformed by Jesus means to serve.

The message of Our Lady the Queen of Peace through visionary  Mirjana Soldo March, 18 2023

“Dear children, I am calling you, through prayer and mercy, to come to know my Son all the better; to learn to listen with a pure and open heart; to listen to what my Son is saying to you in order to come to see spiritually. That, as one people of God in communion with my Son, you may bear witness to the truth with your life. Pray, my children, that, together with my Son, you can bring only peace, joy and love to all your brothers and sisters. I am with you and am blessing you with a motherly blessing”.

Mary, help us to listen to Jesus even though it sometimes hurts and we don’t know what to do with it. Help us not to escape the prayer  and not to be afraid of asking Him questions. Jesus, free us from fear, pride and desire to be greater. Mary, You hid in love Your pain and the things You didn’t understand. Mother, teach us to be the last, plain children who serve.

Amen.

 THE  TWENTIETH  DAY

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit

Come Holy Spirit, come through the powerful intercession of the Immaculate Heart of the Most Pure Virgin Mary, Your most beloved Spouse! (3x)

The Gospel according to Luke (Lk. 8, 16-18)

16 “No one lights a lamp and hides it in a clay jar or puts it under a bed. Instead, they put it on a stand, so that those who come in can see the light. 17 For there is nothing hidden that will not be disclosed, and nothing concealed that will not be known or brought out into the open. 18 Therefore, consider carefully how you listen. Whoever has will be given more; whoever does not have, even what they think they have will be taken from them”.

Take care about your inner world

Let’s pray for inner truthfulness and honesty

  • I am approaching Jesus as a disciple approaches a teacher and as a friend approaches a friend. I am sitting near Him so that I can listen attentively to His guidance and advice. Before listening to every His word I ask Him for my heart to be prepared to accept His lesson.
  • Jesus is a light of the world and I am His lamp. If I want to be His disciple I must agree to be “the lamp on the lampstand” for those who enter may see the light (v. 16)
  • Which features in my character are the light for others and which ones am I ashamed of? Did I experience the moments when someone thanked me for my faith and the witness of life? I remember the details of this event.
  • Every smallest good which I have within me will not be hidden (v. 17). It is known by God and is going to reveal itself in my attitudes towards others. The same situation is with evil. God knows my inner being and conscience. Even those things I am hiding the most will be brought out into the open.
  • I am looking at my life from “outside” and “inside”. What can I say about the transparency and the direction of my daily life? I am standing before Jesus with all sincerity of my conscience. I am imploring Him for me to see myself with His eyes to the very depths.
  •  “…consider carefully how you listen” (v. 18). Listening with all your being – with heart, mind and will – can make my life very rich. In a special way it is listening to God’s word. And vice versa: listening without attention can make me a superficial person.
  • I am asking Jesus in a sincere prayer to open my mind, heart and will for listening to His word; to show me my superficiality and arrogance and protect me from a life based on “a visible good”. I am assuring Him of the honesty and truthfulness of my conscience.

At school of Our Lady

Mary awakens our conscience as Jesus does. She teaches us to live with heart, to be responsible for the witness of our life. She said: “Little children, be those who draw souls to God and not those who distance them. I am with you and love you all with a special love. From the bottom of my heart, I call you to be mine with all your heart ” (25.02.2004)

The message of Our Lady the Queen of Peace through visionary  Mirjana Soldo February, 02  2010

“Dear children; With motherly love, today I call you to be a lighthouse to all souls who wander in the darkness of ignorance of God’s love. That you may shine all the brighter and draw all the more souls, do not permit the untruths which come out of your mouth to silence your conscience. Be perfect. I am leading you with my motherly hand – a hand of love. Thank you”. Mary, our Mother, help us to be sympathetic to every opinion, word and act. Keep watch on our conscience and help us to be vigilant. We wish truly to be Your light that means to emanate Jesus. Mary, make us completely Yours, help us to eliminate out of our hearts everything that darken the light.

 THE  TWENTY-FIRST  DAY

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit

Come Holy Spirit, come through the powerful intercession of the Immaculate Heart of the Most Pure Virgin Mary, Your most beloved Spouse! (3x)

The Gospel according to Luke (Lk. 8, 19-21)

19 Then his mother and his brothers came to Him, but they could not reach Him because of the crowd. 20 And He was told: “Your mother and your brothers are standing outside, desiring to see you”. 21 But He answered them: “My mother and my brothers are those who hear the word of God and do it”.

Live by Jesus’s word like Mary

Let’s pray for the heart that lives profoundly by God’s word

  • I am approaching Mary with a childish tenderness. I ask Her to be with me while I am pondering on Jesus’s words of today’s Gospel. I trust Her my prayer time.
  • I am accompanying Mary Who desires to meet Jesus. She is unable to reach Him because of the crowd (v. 19-20). I pay attention to Her silence. I am approaching Mary in order to talk to Her about Her love for Jesus and Her Motherly experience of His presence.
  • What can I say about my daily need to encounter Jesus? I ask Mary in the sincere prayer for me to yearn for Jesus and His living presence in my daily life.
  • Jesus shows me a special place of meeting with Him. That’s God’s word (v. 21). Listening to God’s word will lead me to a close relationship with Jesus. The word of God can create within me the relations with Jesus that are greater than the deepest human relations.

Listening to Jesus’s words (v. 21) I look at Mary and reflect on Her deep connection with Jesus. I admire her beautiful love for Jesus that had been conceived since Her first acceptance of God’s word in Nazareth.

  • Jesus reminds me that listening to His word should lead to the fulfilment of this word (v. 21). Jesus’s word holds life. It can fill my life just as it completely filled  Mary’s life. Mary’s life shows me how beautiful a person will become if he lives according to God’s word.
  • I am giving my life to Mary in the heartfelt conversation for Her to watch over Jesus’s word in me. I am asking Her in these days with the words: “My Mother, guard Jesus’s words in me ”.

At the school of Our Lady

Jesus’s words “..my mother and my brothers are those who hear the word of God and do it…” are a call to become Mary and His brothers. She said to us: “I am a grace sent by Heavenly Father to help you in living by God’s word”. She accepted Him in Nazareth, gave Him birth, lived and embodied Him like no other human being. She teaches us that when pondering on God’s word every day we become like Her and Jesus is born within us. Everything begins in the family at home.

The message of Our Lady the Queen of Peace through visionary Marija Pavlovic-Lunetti August, 25  1996

“Dear children! Listen, because I wish to speak to you and to invite you to have more faith and trust in God, who loves you immeasurably. Little children, you do not know how to live in the grace of God, that is why I call you all anew, to carry the word of God in your heart and in thoughts. Little children, place the Sacred Scripture in a visible place in your family, and read and live it. Teach your children, because if you are not an example to them, children depart into godlessness. Reflect and pray and then God will be born in your heart and your heart will be joyous. Thank you for having responded to my call”. Mary, Our Mother, You descend through the Gospel in silence without drawing attention to Yourself. We love You, we love Your way of life and Your acting according to God’s word. Teach us these things, Mother, we want to be like You. Help us to hear and to keep and to fulfil God’s word personally and in our families. Amen.

 HE  TWENTY-SECOND  DAY

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit

Come Holy Spirit, come through the powerful intercession of the Immaculate Heart of the Most Pure Virgin Mary, Your most beloved Spouse! (3x)

Gospel according to Luke (Lk. 9, 1-6)

1 When Jesus had called the Twelve together, He gave them power and authority to drive out all demons and to cure diseases, 2 and He sent them out to proclaim the kingdom of God and to heal the sick. 3 He told them: “Take nothing for the journey—no staff, no bag, no bread, no money, no extra shirt. 4 Whatever house you enter, stay there until you leave that town. 5 If people do not welcome you, leave their town and shake the dust off your feet as a testimony against them”. 6 So they set out and went from village to village, proclaiming the good news and healing people everywhere.

Witness Jesus courageously

Let’s pray for the profound witnessing of the truth that Jesus is in need of my witnessing

  • I imagine a scene described by Luke. I am standing among the Twelve whom He gives His power (v. 1). Most of them are ordinary people. Do I believe that Jesus can display His power in my life as well?
  • Jesus gives the Twelve authority to drive out all demons and to cure diseases (vv. 1-2). He has been acting in the Church for two thousand years making use of chosen servants. I am glorifying Him for the gift of priesthood, Blessed Sacraments and His word.

I remember the events of my life when I felt a special work of Jesus: through His word, Sacraments, through people whom He is sending me. Which release or healing do I desire the most to give thanks to Him for?

  • “..and He sent them out..” (v.2). Jesus desires to continue to be present in the world  through those He sends. There is His world where I live: in my family, community and at my job… He gave this “my world” and is sending me there.
  • Jesus pays attention to the state of liberty (v. 3). Is there anything that limits me, preventing me from being His witness? What is my main burden that weakens my witness with my life?
  • There are places where they won’t welcome me for Jesus (v. 5). Have I ever been rejected because of Jesus? Have I ever been isolated because of my witness of life? How did I accept this situation? How do I experience it?
  • “…so they set out and went…” (v.6). Jesus desires for me to go to those who haven’t come to know Him and don’t believe in Him. Where is my witness needed the most? I give Jesus people and places which as I know He sends me to. I give myself to Him: “Jesus, be my strength”.

At the school of Our Lady

Mary teaches us to witness love with our lives there where we are. She said: “Dear children! In the place where you live, act with love. Let your only instrument always be love. By love you will turn everything into good which Satan desires to destroy and possess. Only that way shall you be completely mine and I shall be able to help you (31.07.1986)

The message of Our Lady the Queen of Peace through visionary Marija Pavlovic-Lunetti March, 25  2010

“Dear children! Also today I desire to call you all to be strong in prayer and in the moments when trials attack you. Live your Christian vocation in joy and humility and witness to everyone. I am with you and I carry you all before my Son Jesus, and He will be your strength and support. Thank you for having responded to my call”.

Jesus, thank You for sending us Mary in order to help us to witness our Christian vocation. Thank You for all the witnesses of Your love in our life thanks to whom we became Your disciples. Mary, help us to be faithful and brave witnesses of peace in the places where we live. Amen.

Holy Virgin Mary, today before You and in Your hands I renew and confirm the vows of Holy Baptism.

 THE  TWENTY-THIRD  DAY

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit

Come Holy Spirit, come through the powerful intercession of the Immaculate Heart of the Most Pure Virgin Mary, Your most beloved Spouse! (3x)

Gospel according to Luke (Lk. 9, 7-9)

7 Now Herod the tetrarch heard about all that was going on. And he was perplexed because some were saying that John had been raised from the dead, 8 others that Elijah had appeared, and still others that one of the prophets of long ago had come back to life. 9 But Herod said: “I beheaded John. Who, then, is this I hear such things about?” And he tried to see Him.

LIVE  IN  TRUTH  BEFORE  JESUS  AND  OURSELVES

Let’s pray for a clear conscience free from anxieties and sorrows

  • I imagine the inner state of Herod Antipas. He is suffering. He leads a life of dissipation – he lives with his brother’s wife and he has killed John. After hearing about Jesus he felt embarrassed (vv. 7-8).
  • I ask myself about my spiritual state. Which feeling prevails in me: peace or anxiety, sorrow or joy, inner confidence or fear? I am dwelling longer on my spiritual life. What is my experience about?
  • I try to talk to Jesus about my feelings. What are my heart and conscience burdened the most with? What takes the joy of life off me? I am telling Him about it? I am asking for release and healing.
  • “… Who then is this?..” (v.9). I pause for my image of Jesus. What is my idea of Jesus in my heart? What can I say about my relationship with Him? What attracts me to Jesus the most and what am I afraid of? I acknowledge it before Him.
  • “…And he tried to see Him..” (v.9). I return to my encounters with Jesus: to my prayer, to my listening to Word, to Sacraments, to devotions. Why do I meet Him? What strivings and motivations do I see in my daily spiritual practices?
  •  I am approaching Jesus and “sit down near Him” and tell Him what I have heard about Him so far and about people who told me about Him. I am asking Him to deepen my friendship with Him.
  • I confess sincerely my sins and disordered attachments, which cause confusion in my heart and dull the desire of friendship with Jesus. I am repeating in my heart: “Jesus, teach me to live in truth and freedom”.

At the school of Our Lady

Mary teaches us that remoteness from Jesus is the reason for unrest. Satan causes unrest, fear, murders, wars, hatred. She comes as the Queen of peace and calls us: be humble and pray and give everything to the Most High Who created you.

The message of Our Lady the Queen of Peace through visionary Marija Pavlovic-Lunetti November, 25  2010

“Dear children! I look at you and I see in your heart death without hope, restlessness and hunger. There is no prayer or trust in God, that is why the Most High permits me to bring you hope and joy. Open yourselves. Open your hearts to God’s mercy and He will give you everything you need and will fill your hearts with peace, because He is peace and your hope. Thank you for having responded to my call”.

Jesus, thank You for that all fear, feeling of  unconfidence and shame vanish when I am with You. Mary, help us to build a profound relationship with Jesus. You console us like a mother: “Dear children, also today Jesus is here beside you, even when you think that you are alone and that light does not exist in your life. He is here and has never left you or distanced Himself from you. The light of His birth illuminates this world and your life. His Heart is always open towards you, to receive your every pain, every trial, fear and need. His arms are extended towards you, that as a father, He may embrace you and tell you how important you are for Him, how much He loves you and cares for His children” (25.12.2020)

Holy Virgin Mary, today before You and in Your hands I renew and confirm the vows of Holy Baptism.
