Novena to the Queen of Peace for the 45th Anniversary of Our Lady’s Apparitions On Monday, June 15, the Novena to the Queen of Peace begins. Every day at 4 p.m. during these nine days, the rosary will be said on Apparition Hill. We will broadcast this prayer of the rosary live on the YouTube channels of the Information Center Mir Medjugorje for all those who will not be in Medjugorje.

On Thursday, June 25, the parish of Medjugorje will solemnly celebrate the 45th anniversary of Our Lady’s apparitions. This year, parishioners and pilgrims will prepare for this anniversary for nine days by praying the rosary on the Apparition Hill and participating in the evening prayer and liturgical program.

On Monday, June 15, the Novena to the Queen of Peace begins. Every day at 4 p.m. during these nine days, the rosary will be said on Apparition Hill. We will broadcast this prayer of the rosary live on the YouTube channels of the Information Center Mir Medjugorje for all those who will not be in Medjugorje.

“On Tuesday, June 16, the Novena to the Queen of Peace begins during the evening prayer program,” the Medjugorje Parish Office announced, noting that this year, too, parishioners will pray the rosary before the evening Holy Mass.

On the first day of the Novena, Tuesday, June 16, the rosary will be led by parishioners from Miletina, a day later by parishioners from Vionica, and on the third day by members of the Secular Franciscan Order from Medjugorje. On the fourth day of the Novena, Friday, June 19, the rosary will be led by parishioners from Bijakovići, and on Saturday by parishioners from Medjugorje. On Sunday, the rosary will be said by members of the Mother’s Village. On Monday, June 22, the rosary will be led by parishioners from Šurmanci, and on the penultimate day of the Novena to the Queen of Peace, Tuesday, June 23, the rosary will be said by the Franciscan Youth of Medjugorje. On the last day of the Novena, on the eve of the apparitions of Our Lady in Medjugorje, the rosary will be led at the White Dome of the Church of St. James by members of the humanitarian association ‘Mary’s Hands’ from Medjugorje.
