Message of Our Lady Queen of Peace, April, 25  2025

“Dear children, winds of peacelessness, selfishness and sin are catching hold of many hearts and leading them into peacelessness and perdition. That is why I am calling you, little children: return to God and to prayer, so that it may be good for you in the hearts and on the earth on which you live. I love you, little children, and that is why I am not tiring of calling you to conversion. Thank you for having responded to my call” (With church approval).

1. “Winds of peacelessness, selfishness and sin are catching hold of many hearts and leading them into peacelessness and perdition”.

Wind can be very dangerous for life. It is enough to remember a seastorm, snowstorm or desert storm in order to comprehend how hazardous it is. Such wind led many people to perdition at sea as well as in the snow and sand. In Medjugorje it sometimes happens that wind from Africa brings clouds and rain which contain the desert sand  which pollutes the environment.

Our Lady tells us how peacelessness, selfishness and sin spread around the world like the wind “catching hold of many hearts and leading them into peacelessness and perdition”. Actually peacelessness and uncertainty extend and creep into the hearts of people through news about war in Ukraine and Middle East, terrorist attacks in some European countries as well as through the politicians and their desire to dominate. What winds are these? The media, the internet, social networks, newspapers, cell phones and television.

How much sin is spread through pornography? What causes an increasing influence of the spirit of selfishness on young people? Isn’t it the same wind which widens in the West and causes many christians to fall off the Church, backed off from faith and prayer? 

The gossip and stories about others spread like the wind. How the negative conversations about others turn into the wind that brings bad reputation and slander! How evil and hatred reach the human’s hearts, infect and capture them like the wind! How cunning evil is, how easily it can deceive people, blind them and use them against other people!

2. “That is why I am calling you, little children: return to God and to prayer, so that it may be good for you in the hearts and on the earth on which you live”.

People, who had managed to escape a seastorm or had been able to find shelter when a snowstorm or sandstorm broke down upon the area where they had been, were saved.  Our Lady calls us to return to God and to prayer so that we can find shelter and can be saved from the winds that bring unrest, selfishness and sin.

Our Lady promises us that we will be not only saved but it will be good in our hearts and on earth as a planet as well. There will be peace and contentment in our hearts and concerning the land on which we live we will have clarity on how to properly treat the creatures.

Prayer, Holy Mass and confession are the return to God. Many things such as work, people, cares and addictions move us away from God because we don’t make time for  God and Mass. The sin especially distances and enslaves us, blinds the hearts and leads us in the direction that is opposite to God. Therefore Holy confession is the return to God. Confession is our return to the Merciful Father like the homecoming of the younger and prodigal son who became conscious of his behavior, repented and returned to his father.

3. “I love you, little children, and that is why I am not tiring of calling you to conversion”.

We, human beings, usually get tired and give up when it concerns those who are walking a bad path or fell into addiction or made us hurt and distanced himself from us. However it is different with Our Lady because She doesn’t get tired. She clearly reveals the reason of Her tirelessness – that is Her love for us! Her love is a reason for Her apparition to us, Her being with us for so long a time, Her calling us to conversion and setting out with God.

It goes without saying that the lack of love or weak love is a reason for our tiring, giving up and moving away from those people who display weakness. We care only about ourselves, don’t think about others and don’t give hand to others because we don’t have love. 

Love is a key which opens our hearts, mouths and hands in order to do good unceasingly and help people in different needs selflessly. Look at Mary, teach from Her and pray to God for Him to arouse and strengthen love in us.

The wind has positive sides: it moves sails which in turn move ships; it generates electricity with the help of windmills; it scatters pollen from one fruit tree to another pollinating tree for it to bear new fruits… When we have more love then perhaps a good wind will pass through us that will spread goodness, peace, joy, unity and forgiveness to other people.

And finally don’t forget about Our Lady’s call for “conversion”. Whom does Our Lady call to conversion? These are people who distanced themselves from God and prayer and were blown away by the wind of hopelessness, selfishness and sin. And certainly, don’t consider ourselves to be non-called to conversion. It would be a great mistake…
