In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy spirit. Amen.
Come, Holy Spirit, come by means of the powerful intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Your Beloved Spouse! (3x)
Luke 18: 35-43
As Jesus approached Jericho, a blind man was sitting by the roadside begging. When he heard the crowd going past, he inquired what was happening. They told him, “Jesus of Nazareth is passing by.” He shouted, “Jesus, Son of David, have pity on me!” The people in front rebuked him and ordered him to be silent, but he only shouted all the louder, “Son of David, have pity on me!” Jesus stopped and ordered that the man be brought to him. And when he had come near, Jesus asked him, “What do you want me to do for you?” He answered, “Lord, let me receive my sight.” Jesus said to him, “Receive your sight. Your faith has made you well.” Immediately, he received his sight and followed Jesus, praising God. And all the people who witnessed this also gave praise to God.
ASK FOR HEALING with faith
What am I asking for?
Deep faith in the healing power of Jesus.
• I sit down by the roadside next to a blind beggar. I try to empathize with his misery and helplessness. Many people are passing by. No one can help him. He is at the mercy of fate (vv. 35–36).
• I recall situations in my life in which I have felt like a “blind beggar”—helpless and vulnerable. What is my greatest blindness today? What makes me most helpless?
• I notice the sudden reaction of the blind man when he learns that Jesus is passing by. I listen to his touching cry: “Jesus, have mercy on me!” I notice how persistently and increasingly loudly he cries out, even when others hinder him (vv. 37–39).
• Every day Jesus passes by my misery and helplessness, wanting me to persistently cry out for his love. I imagine Jesus stopping by me and asking me like the beggar at Jericho: “What do you want me to do for you?” (vv. 40-41). What would I like to ask him for now?
• Jesus sees my insides. He knows my illnesses and he can heal me. But he looks for faith in my heart. He wants to tell me, as he did to the beggar: “Your faith has made you well” (v. 42). What can I say about my faith in his power?
• I stand next to the beggar again. I notice how the encounter with Jesus has healed and transformed his life. His cry has turned into joy. Deeply joyful, he praises God (v. 43).
• In a heartfelt conversation with Jesus, I will praise and thank him for all the encounters in which he has healed me, removed my sadness, and restored my joy. I will pray to him with my favorite psalm.
In the school of Our Lady:
Mary teaches us that every healing is the fruit of faith. First, she leads us to the healing of faith, that is, to the healing of the soul, and then she helps us to pray for the healing of the body.

Dear children! Today, in a special way, I invite you to take the cross in the hands and to meditate on the wounds of Jesus. Ask of Jesus to heal your wounds, which you, dear children, during your life sustained because of your sins or the sins of your parents. Only in this way, dear children, you will understand that the world is in need of healing of faith in God the Creator. By Jesus’ passion and death on the cross, you will understand that only through prayer you, too, can become true apostles of faith; when, in simplicity and prayer, you live faith which is a gift.Thank you for having responded to my call.
Mary, help us to believe in the healing power of Jesus. Amen.
The prayer of consecration to Jesus through Mary
Holy Virgin Mary, today before You and in Your hands I renew and confirm the vows of Holy Baptism.
I renounce satan forever, his works; and I consecrate myself to the Sacred Heart of Jesus Christ. I want to carry my cross after Him all the days of my life according to the will of the Heavenly Father.
O Mary, in the presence of all the heavenly court and the whole Church I consecrate myself to Your Immaculate Heart. Be my Mother and Queen. In complete submission and love I give You and consecrate to You my body and soul, my goods, both interior and exterior, the value of all my good actions, past, present and future leaving to thee the entire and full right of disposing of me, and all that belongs to me according to thy good pleasure, for the greater gloryof God in time and in eternity. Amen.
