26th day 30th November

26th day

30th November

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy spirit. Amen.

Come, Holy Spirit, come by means of the powerful intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Your Beloved Spouse! (3x)

Mt 24, 37-44

For as it was in the days of Noah, so will it be at the coming of the Son of Man. In the days before the flood, people were eating and drinking, marrying and being given in marriage, up to the day that Noah entered the ark. They knew nothing about what would happen until the flood came and swept them all away. “That is how it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. Two men will be out in the field; one will be taken and the other will be left. Two women will be grinding at the mill; one will be taken and the other will be left. Therefore, keep watch, for you do not know the day when your Lord is coming. “But keep this in mind: if the owner of the house had known at what time of night the thief was coming, he would have stayed awake and not allowed his house to be broken into. Therefore, you must also be prepared, because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you do not expect him.

To eXPECT JESUS

What do I ask for?

For a heart always ready to receive the Lord.

  • Jesusentrustsme to the Father every day. I will look into his eyes and listen carefully to every word he says. I will think that he wants to prepare me for his final coming.
  • Jesustellsme that no one knows the day of his coming except the Father (v. 36). He will come when no one suspects it (v. 44), when people are busy with their daily duties, when they least expect it.
  • I willthinkabout my daily duties, especially those that absorb me the most. I will imagine myself in different activities and situations typical for my daily life.
  • I willrealizethat the end of the world could happen during one of these ordinary circumstances. Do I really believe this? Every moment of my life could be the one that God has chosen for his final coming. How does this thought make me feel? I will share them with Jesus.
  • Are theresituations and activities in my lifewhere I feel that I am moving away from Jesus? I will try to name them and talk about them honestly with Jesus. I will give it to Him and ask Him to free me from them.
  • Jesusleavesme with  two instructions until the time of His coming: “to be vigilant and ready” (vv. 42, 44). Advent is beginning, which can be a good opportunity to practice these two attitudes. I will ask myself: How can I live them in the midst of my daily duties?
  • I willgivemyself more time to vigile in personal prayer. I will set aside a specific time during the week to devote to biblical meditation. In heartfelt prayer, I will repeat: “Jesus, ignite in me the desire to watch!”

In the school of Our Lady:

Mary teaches us to be vigilant and to be prepared to meet the Lord in prayer and love.

November 25, 2018

Dear children! This is a time of grace and prayer, a time of waiting and giving. God is giving Himself to you that we may love Him above everything. Therefore, little children, open your hearts and families, so that this waiting may become prayer and love and, especially, giving. I am with you, little children, and encourage you not to give up from what is good, because the fruits are seen and heard of afar. That is why the enemy is angry and uses everything to lead you away from prayer. Thank you for having responded to my call.”

Mary, help us to expect Jesus by constant decision for good.

The prayer of consecration to Jesus through Mary

Holy Virgin Mary, today before You and in Your hands I renew and confirm the vows of Holy Baptism.

I renounce satan forever, his works; and I consecrate myself  to the Sacred Heart of Jesus Christ. I want to carry my cross after Him all the days of my

life according to the will of the Heavenly Father.

O Mary, in the presence of all the heavenly court and the whole Church I consecrate myself to Your Immaculate Heart. Be my Mother and Queen. In complete

submission and love I give You and consecrate to You my body and soul, my goods, both interior and exterior, the value of all my good actions, past, present

and future leaving to thee the entire and full right of disposing of me, and all that belongs to me according to thy good pleasure, for the greater gloryof God in time and in eternity. Amen.
