32nd day – 6th November

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy spirit. Amen.

Come, Holy Spirit, come by means of the powerful intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Your Beloved Spouse! (3x)

Mt 9, 35 -10, 1. 5a. 6-8

Jesus traveled through all the towns and villages, teaching in their synagogues, proclaiming the good news of the kingdom, and curing every kind of illness and disease. When he saw the crowds, he had compassion on them because they were distressed and helpless like sheep without a shepherd.  Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest is abundant, but the laborers are few.  Therefore, ask the Lord of the harvest to send forth laborers for his harvest.”

Calling his twelve disciples together, he gave them authority over unclean spirits, with the power to drive them out and to cure every kind of disease and illness.

These twelve Jesus sent forth after giving them the following instructions: “Do not travel to the territory of the Gentiles, and enter no Samaritan town.Go rather to the lost sheep of Israel.  And as you go, proclaim: ‘The kingdom of heaven is near.’  Cure the sick, raise the dead, cleanse those who have leprosy, drive out demons. You received without payment; give in the same way.

LOOK AT AND LISTEN TO JESUS

What do I ask for?

For a reconciling desire of the heart for Jesus and for Advent conversion.

• At the beginning of Advent, Matthew assures me that Jesus visits all places and heals all diseases (v. 35). He comes even where I am sickest.

• I imagine Jesus coming to me and saying: “Let me come to you. Let me heal your sick heart.” Do I trust him? Do I want to let him into those areas of life where I feel very lonely and helpless?

• “When he saw the crowds, he had compassion on them” (v. 36). I imagine myself in a crowd of troubled people. I meet Jesus’ gaze. His gaze penetrates me deeply. He knows everything about me and never stops loving me. Do I believe this?

• Jesus wants to send me people who will bring me closer to him (v. 37). Do I pray for this? I will recall in my heart the people who showed me Jesus up close. They are his gift to me. For whom would I most like to thank him?

• I will draw near to Jesus together with the twelve (vv. 1,5–7). I will listen to his words. I will realize that he gives me the power to draw near to God and thus help others to heal and turn from evil. I will think of my loved ones who need me the most. Do I believe that I can help them?

• Like every year, I now receive the gift of Advent (v. 8): a time of prayer, conversion, healing. I will think about how I would like to use this time and how to share it with others – in my family and in my community.

• I will invite Jesus into my Advent. I will repeat my Advent prayer: “Prepare me for the harvest of the feasts. I long for you. Come!”

In the school of Our Lady:

Mary helps us to open ourselves to Jesus and let Him to enter in where something hurts us the most.

November 25, 2010

“Dear children! I look at you and I see in your heart death without hope, restlessness and hunger. There is no prayer or trust in God, that is why the Most High permits me to bring you hope and joy. Open yourselves. Open your hearts to God’s mercy and He will give you everything you need and will fill your hearts with peace, because He is peace and your hope. Thank you for having responded to my call.”

Mary our Mother, you look upon us with pity like Jesus. Help us to open ourselves to him, so that we may be healed of every infirmity and disease and may bring others to him, especially in our families. Amen.

The prayer of consecration to Jesus through Mary

Holy Virgin Mary, today before You and in Your hands I renew and confirm the vows of Holy Baptism.

I renounce satan forever, his works; and I consecrate myself  to the Sacred Heart of Jesus Christ. I want to carry my cross after Him all the days of my life according to the will of the Heavenly Father.

O Mary, in the presence of all the heavenly court and the whole Church I consecrate myself to Your Immaculate Heart. Be my Mother and Queen. In complete submission and love I give You and consecrate to You my body and soul, my goods, both interior and exterior, the value of all my good actions, past, present and future leaving to thee the entire and full right of disposing of me, and all that belongs to me according to thy good pleasure, for the greater gloryof God in time and in eternity. Amen.
