In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
Come, Holy Spirit, come by means of the powerful intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Your Beloved Spouse! (3x)
Lk.17, 1-6
Jesus said to his disciples: “Things that cause people to stumble are bound to come, but woe to anyone through whom they come. It would be better for them to be thrown into the sea with a millstone tied around their neck than to cause one of these little ones to stumble. So watch yourselves. “If your brother or sister sins against you, rebuke them; and if they repent, forgive them. Even if they sin against you seven times in a day and seven times come back to you saying ‘I repent,’ you must forgive them.” The apostles said to the Lord, “Increase our faith!” He replied, “If you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mulberry tree, ‘Be uprooted and planted in the sea,’ and it will obey you.
To live radically according to the Gospel
Let us pray for a deep sensitivity for Jesus’ words which I read in the Gospel
• Jesus knows me profoundly. He knows all the good that lives in my heart, and He also knows everything about my fragility and my tendency toward evil. He reminds me of the inevitability of temptation (1). The devil will be eager to strike at my weakest points.
• I will ask myself before Jesus about my most frequent inclinations toward evil. What is my greatest weakness in the moments when I am most vulnerable to temptation? I will invite Jesus into my vulnerable places for me to be cured and strengthened by His grace.
• “Watch yourselves” (2). I will listen to Jesus’s concerned voice Who wants to warn me about the moments when my tendency to evil may also become a source of temptation and sin for the weak ones. I will ask myself honestly: what influence do I have on people I meet every day?
• Jesus intercedes for those who have hurt me (3-4). He wants me to forgive them even if they have sinned against me many times. Forgiveness is not an indulgence in evil. Yet there is a great art in persuading others in a way that does not suppress them but helps them see their wrongdoing and repent.
• I will lean against the Crucified One. I have become aware that He is dying for me and those who made me hurt. What would I like to ask of Him?
• Jesus wants to convince me that if I firmly believe then nothing impossible will be for me (6). If I believe that He can uproot from my heart the fig tree of my offenses, unresolved hurts and slavery then it will happen!
• With deep humility I will approach Jesus and ask Him as the disciples did:”Increase my faith” (5). In the heartfelt conversations I will tell Him about all my doubts regarding my faith, my resistance and rebellion. I will ask Him for the gift of profound faith for myself and my neighbors.
In the school of Our Lady
Mary teaches us to be responsible for our hearts. As my heart is, so will the people around me be.
Dear children! Also today, as never up to now, I call you to open your hearts to my messages. Little children, be those who draw souls to God and not those who distance them. I am with you and love you all with a special love. This is a time of penance and conversion. From the bottom of my heart, I call you to be mine with all your heart and then you will see that your God is great, because He will give you an abundance of blessings and peace. Thank you for having responded to my call.
Mary, we want to be yours with all our hearts. Help us to be careful about the purity of our hearts, so that we are not a stumbling block to others but an encouragement to love and forgiveness.
Together with you we pray – Jesus, give us firm faith. Amen.
The prayer of consecration to Jesus through Mary
Holy Virgin Mary, today before You and in Your hands I renew and confirm the vows of Holy Baptism. I renounce satan forever, his works; and I consecrate myself to the Sacred Heart of Jesus Christ. I want to carry my cross after Him all the days of my life according to the will of the Heavenly Father. O Mary, in the presence of all the heavenly court and the whole Church I consecrate myself to Your Immaculate Heart. Be my Mother and Queen. In complete submission and love I give You and consecrate to You my body and soul, my goods, both interior and exterior, the value of all my good actions, past, present and future leaving to Thee the entire and full right of disposing of me, and all that belongs to me according to Thy good pleasure, for the greater glory of God in time and in eternity. Amen.
