The first prayer that we, the visionaries, and thus everyone present began to pray with the Mother of God, was the prayer of the seven “Our Father”, “Hail Mary”, “Glory to the Father” and “Symbol of Faith”.

We prayed this prayer with joy in the future – we knelt down every evening after Holy Mass and gave thanks for Her presence in our midst.

Little by little, Our Lady called and encouraged us to pray the Rosary, Her most beloved prayer. We joyfully began to read the joyful, sorrowful and glorious mysteries, and a little later She asked us to pray the fourth Sacrament of the Rosary – the mysteries of light, which were introduced by John Paul II, so that through the Rosary we would contemplate and experience the life of Jesus. Not much time passed, and the Mother of God invited us to pray the Rosary every day.

Holy Scripture, cross, consecrated objects

She also urged us to put the Holy Scriptures in a prominent place at home and in the family and read them. I remember that when She said this, each one of us visionaries got our Holy Scriptures and began to read. Wherever we went – to the mountain of revelations, to Križevats – we carried it with us and read it happily, and when we read psalms, we rejoiced in prayer to God. The Mother of God also urged us to place a cross in a prominent place in our homes. She advised us to always have consecrated objects with us as a sign that we are Her. Thus, with medals, rosaries and crosses, we began to testify that we are Christians, that we belong to the Mother of God and that God is our first priority.

We loved Jesus through Mary

Then the Mother of God, encouraging us, called on us to create prayer groups in our families and parishes. And so in our Christian life we ​​grew together with the Mother of God – She guided us. After some time, She called to pray for three hours every day. When She desired it, we replied that what She expects from us is a little too much, we are not capable of praying that much. But She smiled and said: when a dear friend comes to your family, you don’t look at how long he stays, how much time you spend with him. Let Jesus be your best friend. From that moment we began a deep life with Jesus, loved Him through Mary, began to follow Her message and live what God – through Mary – expects from us.

Adoration of the Holy Gifts – adoration

We followed the messages of the Mother of God and began to testify with our lives. She wanted us to worship Jesus in the Holy Gifts – adoration, and we began to do it regularly. First, we began in the prayer group in the worship of the Holy Gifts to give thanks for what God does through Mary. We also gave thanks for what God is doing through everyone who comes here and experiences conversion here.

The Mother of God was not tired

At each apparition, I ask the Mother of God for all people, especially for young people, and for all those who come to Medjugorje, that they may be saved, that they decide to choose holiness as St. Francis, who was a special witness of the joy of the Risen One. We often see so many young people who are spiritually dead and have chosen nothing to their detriment. The Mother of God calls us to bear witness and realize that Jesus died for us on the cross, to bear witness to the Risen One. Although the apparitions have been going on for so many years, She is not tired. She wants us to be Her outstretched arms, to carry Her message. Therefore, She says: dear children, I intercede for you before My Son. Be converted. And today the Mother of God continues to say: dear children, I am your Mother, I love you. Let’s take advantage of this time of grace. Every day She calls us to decide to choose eternal life, to choose God. This is what her Son Jesus expects from us – through her.
